What on earth is Lenovo doing????? I have a Lenovo Tab S8-50 here which is almost 2 years old and has STILL not seen an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow NOR the new Android 7.0 Nougat.
A quad core 1.86Ghz cpu and 2Gb RAM is MORE than enough to run Marshmallow and I would ridicule anyone who would say otherwise.

My personal opinion,,,,, forget about M if u got 2gb ram only and I can even say same about N if u have only 3gb ram.
Somewhere I heared that future android versions increase the battery life, but it's WRONG,,, fact is they need more ram like 2gb more for every new version,,,,
So I can go ahead and say this is THE END for Android.
A new OS may already born somewhere and it will launch in next year,
Just like old OS history,,,,
Remember my words and let's welcome a new OS,,,,,,,

Dude's,,, am using both s8 50lc tab and x3 and 2days back updated to M (x3), everything is good but available RAM is 1.2gb and no increase in battery juice.
So therez is no USE of M for s8 50lc tab coz it's eating the RAM and battery juice so from 2gb ram, u may get around 600mb RAM, so forget about M and carry on with what u have now.
Actually am using s8 since 1.5yrs and it's good with few problems like low call volume and hungry battery (8" inch need a big,,,, :D battery),,
So what we really need for this s8 tab is like a slim flip cover with battery like that ASUS made,,, actually it's a fantastic idea and hope some made it for not only this tab but for all brands
