I wonder whether Lenovo will ever launch a true successor to this device.
Vibe K4 Note stands out because of its multimedia capabilities, I enjoy the front stereo speakers a lot coupled with the 5.5 inch screen...
K5 Note and K6 Note (and their variants) are all side-grade to me because they lack the stereo speakers.
I really wish there will be a Vibe K7 Note of sort that does not lack these traits:
- Front stereo speakers, obviously
- Capacitive buttons, seriously
- Dedicated dual SIM slots (screw hybrid slot) & microSD slot
- Beautiful screen
- Big battery
- Fingerprint scanner
- 3.5mm jack
Here is a list of upgrades I would like to have:
- Most pivotal, employ a 14-nm SoC, for example SD 625 or 626.
- 32GB internal & 4GB RAM combo.
- Better quality screen, think color accuracy and sunlight legibility. Not necessarily has to be of AMOLED kind. 1080p is enough.
- Android Nougat out of the box.
- Larger camera sensor. I don't think I need more than 13MP, however I desire for better low-light performance. Heck, Lenovo could throw in Moto G5 Plus's big sensor.
If this is too much to ask for from K Note series, I would gladly pay a bit more for an Vibe X series device. Perhaps Vibe X4, as a successor to the Vibe X3.

Using this phone since 26 Jan 2016, this phone works like a charm for me. Cam is awesome on this phone, the images taken are at time more crispier than my Canon SX50 HS. Battery backup is good last a day or more if only on phone calls, and last 10-12 hrs if on calls and videos and net browsing. For those facing issues with the phone please reset your phone, remove the bloatware provided by Lenovo and then use. The only mistake i did was to upgrade to the Marshmellow update, due to which RAM utilization is more. Hope this helps.

I recommend k4 note if u don't play games on phones because it has so awesome multimedia experience, redmi note 3 if u play games on your phone...

gorilla glass 3 protection, android marshmellow, 13mp camera, 5.5 inch display 1080x1920 pixels full hd ips lcd, 3300 mah battery that stays for 165 hours of normal usage (its true I tested it out), 3gb/2gb ram, 8/16/32 gb storage expandable to 128 gb... Ill rate it 10/10... also it has no lag (not considering gaming....)

sree, 03 Apr 2017cannot be rooted... it fails ...man I so your comment I tried rooting it and it worked... gorilla glass 3 protection, octa-core, 13mp camera, 3300 mah battery, dual front facing speakers with dolby atmos, battery last 22 hours of modert usauge (heavy usage)... every thing is awesome but the chipset (its MediaTek)

I have never seen such type of worst cell in my life.i purchased it in shop.it works 3 months well.after software problem arises it is not functioning well.when cell is on it is selecting it's way going forward.i went to shop where it buy asked for solution .I have warranty up to oct2017. There says go to that shop. There is no care in this town proddatur. Go to kadapa. I shocked there is no responsibility from shop owner.now it is worst functioning I purchased it 13000 rupees.lenevo customer care no also not working.who is responsibility for my cell.worst worst cell.

They should come up with better battery optimisation or else, it won't work properly for longer. I have been using this since May 1st and still I'm pretty much satisfied with it but now, my phone hardly works for 3 hours. Not gonna talk about standby as it consumes at least 20% of battery in rest of 4-5 hours. sad :

Abhijit, 22 Jan 2016Bought yesterday - It has worst camera ever !!!!!!!!Why did you buy an outdated phone which is over a year old and there will no future support or updates. I have been using this phone for a while and it's the worst phone in it's class, in the beginning it will work fine , issue starts after couple of months battery would no longer be more than 3-4hrs, battery keeps draining even on standby with no background apps running n you can literally iron your clothes with the amount of heat it generates. Best of luck with this phone
