You can go for k4 note,its really a good phone been using it myself for 1 month,Heating is not that much.

The 38mb update is more inclined towards reducing heat and bring down overall device temperature so that could lead to increase only standby time unless someone has some messy app installed causing the drain.
I did previously rooted with kingroot and couldn't flash the ota update after unroot. What fixed the issue for me was complete ROM flash using the s147 rom file provided @xda forum.

I rooted it then unrooted. Now I receive the 38mb update, but when i install it it gives error at 24 % !!
help me. I uninstalled kingroot but still no way!
