Amazon did not allow me to post a review. So here is my observation as a user and from a day experience.
Lenovo gave too much hype about this phone which upset many because of the cpu they added in it. But this device is still a Killer Phone at a price range of 12K INR and under $200. You will not find a phone of this spec with everything included without major compromises. Only let down is the low speed MT chipset but it should not bother you unless you are a gamer.
Build quality is awesome feels like premium no gaps. Two dedicated micro sim slots and an addon micro sd slot. All 3 can be active same time(most phones compromise here by including a hybrid slot)
The phone doesn't heats up or restart as said by many(mostly false info). I did a 283mb update on day one and now everything is fairly fine.
UI is fast and responsive though Lenovo bloated the device with too many preinstalled softwares which reduced free internal close to 9G - not impressive
Fingerprint is working well enough.
Battery backup is quite good enough to run you through a day.
Camera is decent both front and back. But limited features would prefer something like oppo camera.
There is a screenguard which is average along with a transparent back case which attracts scratches so ease
The octacore processor does its job brilliantly most of the time.
Bundled softwares are not useful.
Theme Center is Joke - just six skins does a wallpaper and icon change and no option to download more from internet.
Game Center - another useless store and very limited.
My friends are impressed so as am. Real value for money.

Overall phoneis very good. Screen tough is Awesome.. But the front camera images r getting blurred... Guys pkz check is thus d problem of mine or for everybody

And I have talked ... moreI received my k4 note today and I'm not happy with its camera and its heating for no reason.
My Asus zenfone 2 laser camera was awesome when compared with k4 note.
I guess amazon doesn't want the cons of the phone to be posted under user reviews so than they can sell more. Suggest me a reason to return the phone.

I am returning the product after all.
And I have talked with a Amazon customer support person and asked about why they are not allowing product reviews on the product page. guess their reason? A technical glitch that they were unaware of. Sounds like bullshit to me.
They were doing a PR campaign for this phone release for weeks, and boasted about their 1sec sales. I am pretty sure this product release is high on their priorities, so there is no way they would have missed "unable to review" problem until 3 days after release. It sure as hell looks like they are deliberately stopping to that more customers can buy the phone without any proper reviews. The cusomer support person says it really is a bug, but I don't believe him. We all know how tech gaints manipulate stuff, I am still suspecting the same here.
Any suggestions on what to do here. They will be refunding me ofcourse. But there is a bigger problem with Amazon here. Should I just let go or should I do something else to escalate this apparent manipulation for getting better sales?

JIN, 22 Jan 2016hardware is not at all good.........cheap.....Who said so?? I've used many Micromax phones and their hardware is awesome (very sturdy), the Micromax devices that I've used have faced many drops but still, not even one crack on front screen (though back is scraped off).
I too agree that they use cheap and dumb MediaTek Processors but they too have taken moves to shift to Qualcomm and has about 15 devices on Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset. And screens are anyways sturdy Gorilla Glasses, and few phones (the Selfie series) have cameras from Sony!! What else is cheap out there?? Even the Micromax Badge at the back is always Platinum, Gold or Bronze Printed (Even on a Bolt of Rs. 2,499). What else is cheap??

Got the phone yesterday... No issue till now.. Multitasking is very smooth.. It shows lag in intensive gaming but u can play them after changing the graphic setting high to medium no langs in midlevel games. Camera is avarage to the price point its decent. A good phone in the range of 12k and no heating problem in daily usages. Satisfied with this one definitely a big upgrade for k3 note.

Today .. I received the phone, most I liked is VR Headset, no heating issue may be because of immediately updated the phone. Two sims + memory card slot, it's good phone in 12K budget, my suggestion to go for it.

This phone has a serious auto shutdown issue... Mtk board is poor. Switching off ever few minutes.. But luckily amazon agreed for refund. Pl don't buy
