It's roughly USD10 cheaper than Redmi (price on the street may vary).
On one hand, Redmi offers large battery and somewhat better QC. On the other hand K5 plus has better screen resolution and close-to-stock android (bar the absence of app drawer)
The new MiUi looks like iOS though so that's nice

It is the same clone of lemon 3 and extra priced $.50. I will definitely buy when it launched April 1.
