AnonD-98399, 23 Dec 2015i no chance to use until 15% in 1 day. Yes. But it is a genuine concern. At 15% I was hoping it would last be another 3-4 hours. But it kept getting switch off and not getting turned on unless charger is connected.

i... morei'm 2 months user for Vibe P1 . no cons was found.
i also trust the review for Samsung A7 which can last for 10 hours web browse. but its actually done the test in wifi mode , not 3G data mode. therefore i need to charge my phone around 4pm , which left only 30% battery life for A7.
Lenovo Vibe P1 - even the most consume battery GPS + 3G Data + auto brightness + Google map , its only consume 5.5mins per 1 % . for A7 , its will cost 4-50% for 2 hours drive , but Vibe P1 will only lost 20-25% only.

Genuine concern guys:
After the 42 mb latest update, phone is getting switched off at 15% battery. Anybody facing the same issue? Any solutions or should I call lenovo for support?

got lenovo vibe p1 today. but did not received 215 mb update. but i received 34, 33, and 42 mb updates.. missing 215 mb update is a problem ???

This phone rocks I m using this ph from last 20days and trust me guys this ph rocks. Super battery backup and its just take 1:30 hrs max to charge the ph from 0% to 100%. camera is good but not that gud. Front camera is gud.
Sound quality is awesome. No heating issue at all.
Diz ph is all rounder for music lover great sound quality for gamers rocks wid all types of heavy games nd its look professional ph as well

maykelbembibre, 22 Dec 2015Finally I got 5:30-6 hours of screen on until battery died ... moreAre you using the Chinese version (P1c72) with 3 GB RAM or ROW version (P1a42) with 2 GB RAM? Anyways, go to Power manager and turn off all apps that are running in the background and standby should be fine. I barely get 1% drop overnight. However, i have noticed that between 30% & 20% the drop is fairly quick (drops 6% within 6-7 min). In spite of that I get a SoT of 10.5 hours over 5 days of usage. What is amazing is that at 2% I get 35 to 48 min of SoT with WiFi on, but moment it comes to 1% it stays only for 30 secs and gives the warning that it will power off.

saiju, 21 Dec 20154hr??? lol... I m getting 10hr of screen on time with 3G ,a... moreFinally I got 5:30-6 hours of screen on until battery died on my Lenovo Vibe P1. It is a very short time, but I have been using the phone for more days and I found that battery is in a good condition. The problem was that it consumes a lot on standby and the fault is of the continuous wakelocks that the phone suffers.
How could I fix that?
For the moment I had to root it and remove all the chinese trash apps that I found. Hope that reduces the CPU wakelocks.
Any help will be very appreciated.

I have been using the Vibe P1 for 1 week, and I am not regret to get this phone as it functions as what it advertised. The main reason that I bought the phone is because of the battery life. My phone was 100% at 8am, after full day of usage- playing games, online surfing, it still has the balance of 40-50% after 12 hours.That is impressive! The phone is smooth and no lagging when playing game. It is worth to get the phone with the price rather than paying a higher price for other brands because of the branding.
