That's make me wonder maybe it's the battery itself that might have problem and need to change.

Yesterday I made an upgrade to Marshmallow on my Vibe Shot. Everything went fine. At the end you have to choose do you want that your SD card would be internal or external memory. If you pick internal you will not be able to use it on any other device.
Mail is now incorporated in only one app. On lollipop it was in two apps and inside each you could switch to other one (gmail and mail).
You can set rights for each app which resources it can access.
Led lights below the screen are light sensitive and won't work when there is high light outside, which is bad.
It is to early to say if battery drainage is better then before. I have to test it for some time.
There are some visual changes and some options are missing and some are added, but for now phone behaves as usual.
Led notification for missed calls is still not fixed.

it last for me for approximately for 7-8 hours with 4G
without 4G it last for 10-11 hours

After upgrade to latest Android 6.0.1, there are a lot of random reboot, I couldn't figure out how is this happen. Pretty annoying that it reboot while I'm using Google map for navigation driving on the road.

I updated my vibe shot to marshmallow and i noticed the camera hangs up after taking a few photos, this didnt happened on lolipop..but everything is great..more performamce but i think still lots of unresolved bugs....still love the phone

It's the worst mobile I ever used, and even after contacting consumer care centre and visiting their repair centres, Lenova didn't support well as well couldn't fix the issues that mobile cannot receive the network single properly and from the same places the other mobiles received strong network from same sim.
Don't buy Lenova mobiles as they are careless people, try reaching them on their toll free care numbers and you will never get connected.

Godo, 04 Jul 2016hey! i have a Lenovo Vibe Shot z90-a40. i upgraded it to an... moreYou can not do anything, unfortunately, but wait for an update to fix it, if there is ever any. Otherwise the update is good, almost like stock android. No lags atall. No new features though. All old features are intact, like you can choose which apps can access data/Wi-Fi, or run in background. Only there was one option to set ultra power saving mode to auto start at set time is removed. I used that feature daily.
For those who are yet to upgrade to android 6, please factory reset the Vibe Shot before and after the upgrade. Also, choose SD card to format as removable storage as if you format as internal, you will not be able to access the card in any other device or even PC. Make back up either on cloud or on PC so you can safely format SD card.
