Just bought.lenovo Z90a40..enjoyed using it even.the set up in taking pictures..but.I have notice that the saturation is more on the brown side..the RED is not that bright..no matter how I change the dispay setting in color...still im dissapounted.
Could somebody help me to fix it.. thanks

Hi guys to those users already do you guys experience the captured pictures when preview it the light balance is decreasing do you guys get what I mean have you experience the same? I was just wondering if my unit has factory defect. Thank you I owe you one promise

Hello guys,
This is a great phone. I am not going to say much about the specs because everybody knows what they got. Oh by the way if possible get Lenovo 90a40 because is full sim active (meaning 3/4 G active on both sims)-tested by myself on my own phone. So go for it.
I've seen some guys are complaining about its battery. Come on guys...let's be serious. Did you at least tried to use some of the futures that helps you save your battery?
Here are couple tips with no other application, will come to that point later.
First of all is an android phone, so that means many application run and are being restarted over and over again in the background. So what do we do about that? We stop it.
How? Go under Setting_Power manager_Background app management and unselect all the selected application in that long list, don't worry it won't kill your phone. The only two application I left on are: DU Battery saver Pro and CM Security. That's enough for me.
Let's say that you've been using your phone and you run out of battery and later on you need to make a phone call but can't recharge your phone. In this case you go to under Setting_Power manager_Ultimate Power saver, turn it on. You can close it easilly when you want, you'll see what I am talking about. That will save your battery from draining down.
Also during the night you might want to use this because you can recharge your phone, or if is already charged just set it on Ultimate Power saver and in the morning the battery will be 100% still charged. I used this option and it really works. That's really nice to know! :)
OK you might want to install DU Battery saver, I got the PRO one for about $3, it really worths and is doing what is supposed to do. Go under smart mode and choose whatever options you want to choose. I checked in Smart Mode:
Screen Lock auto-clear: Auto clears apps when screen is locked.
Auto-clear apps: Clearing background apps can save power.
You also may check Schedule by time and power.
In normal Mode you can go: Prelong, General, sleep. Is a very good application, use it, its going to help you a lot.
With these settings I got 28 hours battery. I was allday long with my 3G data on, stayed about 2 hours with my wireless and my kid played 2 hours games and there was still power in the battery. With my old phone after 2-3 hours of 3G data I could say bye to battery.
I forgot to mention that it has CloneIT under ShareIT and if you wish to transfer pictures, music, your contact list, so on, you only need to install CloneIT on your old device and connect them by using internet or lanspot and get your stuff transferred. I was very worried when I thought how I am going to transfer my contact list from my old phone into my new one. It was the easiest move I ever made! :)

I'm already using it for a week now. (bought it on 4th sept 2015 - Original set by Lenovo Malaysia).
This is my first ever smartphone with 1080p screen. the 5 previous were all 720p.
So far i really satisfied with the functions.
The camera is awesome. but it kinda weak at night / low-light. However the result is quite nice an the color reproduction is natural-look.
The speaker is quite decent.
The CPU works like a charm and snappy.
The design is very attractive.
The screen is very nice and wide angle.
There's a few of things make me kinda disappointed with this phone
No notification lights.
The battery is not very good. for a full-charged i can go about 10-12 hours of medium usage with 3-4 hours screen-on-time.
The glass panel is a fingerprint magnet!
No rapid charge. It takes almost 2 hours to full-charged
Overall i would give this model 8.5/10 stars.
But 10/10 recommend to buy it

[deleted post]i'm already using it for a week. so far the battery not so good. compare to the previous lenovo p70 i used, got about 15hours of medium usage and 5 hours SOT. And with vibe shot i get about 10 hours medium usage with 3-4 hours SOT

Front camera tends to get blurry shots in low light as it lacks OIS or flash.
Video quality is just average.

Facebook doesn't work with the Chinese (standard) ROM/firmware unfortunately. You need to root the phone or install the international ROM.
