I bought this phone because of the camera. Coming from a Sony Xperia L which I was quite disappointed in. The Lenovo camera really is what I would consider good to excellent. The images are clean, sharp, almost no shutter lag time (yes I know there is no shutter) It focuses fast with infrared emitter, the stabilization works well, low light images are relatively clean at ISO 1600 and the auto mode works great although kind of creepy in that it knows what your shooting. LOL! Build quality is quite good for the price. Screen is bright and sharp, quick to charge. The bad is the bleeping bloatware. I found a rom with it stripped off and wow very responsive! Hard to beat for the price. Works on Puretalk USA networks (cheapest cell service) Bluetooth has good range and battery life is not bad either. BTW Pro mode on camera is fun, not exactly like using my DSLR but really is fun to see the live preview as you change white balance ETC Wish it shot in RAW. Want a phone with a good camera and don't want to spend $800 plus, then buy this phone.

Now Lenovo need to do another smartphone in this desing, but with new chipset MediaTek Helio X20 and with new brigthnes screen IPS-Neo Quantum

I am from India,,,, I have been waiting for Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro, and left hope that it would come to India, next is "Lenovo Vibe shot" and after a long waiting for 4 months that is from March now i don't think they would launch in India. Lost hope and planning to move to other brands,,, may be they will launch when Lollipop gets outdated and Android M will be released. This company will launch these phones in India with outdated Lollipop i think.

Hi, just like Bob below, I too waited for a Vibe Shot for a long time. But now, I have finally given up and bought an Asus Zenfone 2 (in India) with 2.3GHz and 4GB RAM.

For those who are thinking about how Zenfone may be better than Vibe Shot, may I explain some features of Zenfone I have experienced so far...

The phone is not much of a looker, but it feels great to hold in the hand because of its curved rear. Not too large or too wide, just right.

On the same day, I downloaded and updated the phone's firmware from Asus's support website (yes, Asus has excellent support). And now the phone behaves even better.

The camera shutter can be configured to fire in 3 ways - (1) by pressing the volume-up button, (2) by touching anywhere on the screen, (3) by touching the camera button on the screen. Even when phone is locked, you can start the camera by double-clicking the volume-up button.

That means Zenfone 2 also has a dedicated camera shoot button which can fire even from locked screen. This takes some advantage away from Lenovo Vibe Shot, which already has lower RAM and less powerful processor and higher price compared to Asus Zenfone 2.

In Zenfone camera, there are excellent manual controls like Exposure, ISO, AutoFocus settings, and it comes with Dual-tone flash.

After applying latest firmware, the Zenfone 2 does not heat up too much, but battery drain is an issue. Maybe 5.1 lollipop update will fix that.

Even on that count, Asus's support and regular updates are much superior than Lenovo's lack of updates on its phones.

                    Cheers.

                    - happy Zenfone 2 user.

Hi I am waiting for Long time to purchase this phone in India. First I heard that it will be launched June 30th. Bur no positive sign for launching in India from Lenovo. I need to change it. Can any one confirm the exact date of Indian Launch?

Suggest me any good Phone which is better than Lenovo Vibe Shot esp in Dual Sim with good RAM and battery.
                      Thanks in Advance.
