btw make sure u disable lenovo security, power manager and lenovo launcher to achieve good speed, reliability and satisfaction from this phone :)

Hy everyone,
I bought a lenovo phone s960 from china..., but i couldnt get open, the charger icon appear one second but it doesnt charg,i put it to charg 5 hours but the same.
does anyone have this problem?

Hi everyone,
I recently bought Vibe X S960 from Malaysia (ori set from Lenovo Malaysia).
I am having doubts about the quality, especially the LCD Screen, which people have reported to be not reliable (stops working in 3-6 months). May I know if is true? Especially from those who have been using this phone for 6 months+.

So in my observation, len s960 has 13 back and 5 front. Its good. Am I right? So do I continue my plan to buy s960? Need some advise. (:

I solved most of the camera lag and other problems by changing the launcher. i'm using kk Launcher, and my camera only takes a second to click.i disabled the lenovo security app using titanium pro.
I use normal power mode and have changed most of the options and my phone doesn't goto sleep mode.
I have also disabled many startup apps.

Until you run your lenovo s960 on jelly bean its excellent..Even I had similar problem when upgraded to kitkat,whatsapp messages not being delivered on time,internet gets disconnect when phone goes to sleep mode.
I took the phone to service centre to roll back to previous version,but was informed with a frank reply You Can Not.
Really disappointed..

I have to comment on the (horrible lack of) camera quality.
Most reviews that I read rate the camera as decent to quite good. However in my experience, and I am also an avid amateur photographer, these really must be outright lies.
First: The camera on this phone is slow to react to button press. It takes at least a full second before a picture gets taken.
Second: Even in bright light the camera suffers from using long exposures leading to blurred subjects.
Third: Almost no picture gets to be in focus, even still objects in bright light. The camera app seems to focus well at first after pressing the button, but a few hundred ms before the actual picture gets taken you can see the picture jump out of focus again!
Four: Even pictures that are in focus suffer from some horrible compression / lens artifacts, making even the best of pictures unusable for anything but use as a small avatar.
All my previous phones, down to my stone age Philips mobile, took better pictures than this one.
The rest of what I have read here and there on this phone seems to be true :).

Anyone knows why my lenovo vibe x s960 has yet to received the new update to kitkat? Everyone else with the same model seems to have received theirs..
Even though I play a lot with the "Setting>about phone>system updates" The result is always the same "Your system is the latest version" when it's clearly stated the android version is 4.2.2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

just want to know why there is 2 partition on this Model of Vibe X..the day i bought its said i got 16GB internal memory but now i looked up the storage is only 8GB and the orther is 6.37GB....

i am living in nouakchott city and i use a sim card 3 G but when i whent out of the tawn i lose my network ifn other phone hase a good network. any one can help on this issue. thanks
