Does anyone know any legit links to where I can buy/order this smartphone and start working on it without having to root anything. Just use it as it is in perfect working state?

However, if you prefer LTE single-SIM variant, rooting is optional as the default UI is English all the way. But, for single-SIM LTE unit, you have many other "better" phones than K910.

The K910 Dual-SIM is very rare species that has high-end specs for dual-SIM unit. There are other similar dual-SIM models like Zoppo 998, Alcatel Idol X+, UMI X3, blah-blah-blah....; but if you "trust" MediaTek SoC, go for it/them.

Here is a brilliant comparison between K910 with the rest:

greg, 22 May 2014Snap 600 loses to Mediatek's octa (2ghz version) so you're ... more- it doesn't exist in the wild (only on paper)
                                        - the next best version is only 1.66ghz (marketing lie rounds it up to 1.7ghz)
                                        - the fact it scores slightly worse than snap 600 on multithreaded tests means its single threaded speed is less than half as much; this is way more important than multi-threaded performance because most (+/- 85%) apps use only 2 threads and when more threads are used they are typically for low priority tasks where the user doesn't notice the difference in performance

Octa core is a silly gimmick. Snapdragon 600 still holds its own pretty well and blows the mtk octa out of the water in practical situations.
