My lenovo yoga 2 8 tab -- could not detect by my laptop operating system windows 8.1 -- anybody have solution... Actually I want to transfer files in to SD card by using my laptop.

Charge with the charger which they have provided .. It should not take so long . This will solve ur problem

I think something wrong with yours... better send back for repair or replace.

I bought this tab just to read my ebooks,but I find that it takes time to scroll the pages and sometime it even hangs. N many of book readers I use in my cellphone does not work properly in this tab.just want to enquire if anyone else is having similar complaints? Should I replace this piece or exchange it with some other brand ???

You can check XDA Lenovo tablet section, i have seen a few people reporting this problems in various situations.
Some turned off the screen, then couldn't turn it on, unless they hold the power button for ~1 minute or so, for others, this happened while using the device.
I have also seen the complaints in a foreign language forum such as 4pda.ru (use Google translate if you got the nerves to put up with it).
there were more people complaining about this issue over there, and there doesn't seem to be a clear answer as to why this happens. but none had this issue with the older firmwares from October/November 2014.
So it's a safe bet that it is has something to do with the newest firmware updates. although it shouldn't happen very often, only rarely!
Regarding to your other question as to when will it be rectified... well, that totally depends on Lenovo!
All i know is someone posted that they've recieved a reply via e-mail from the Lenovo support, that they are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.
Unfortunately, these OTA updates they keep releasing, don't come with change logs. so basically, it's a guess work.
Maybe they change it in the next one, maybe the one after that...
Lenovo is relatively new to Android. and they're not known for their timely updates, so far.
So it might take awhile.

And it's not j... moreThanks for your reply.again today tablet got switched off twice on its own and got life after pressing on/off key for a minute....still in 30 day return warranty under Flipkart...what to do...will it be rectified....do u have any link regarding this bug...feeling annoyed 😠

It's a great tablet, afforable price too. The speaker is very loud and clear, i think the loudest speaker tablet around.
