because the 3g/wifi support have a dialer icon on it.
have u insert a sim card in it? check carefully cos it may have what seem to be a slot but no hole for sim card insertion.
dont get confused between sim card hole and memory card hole.

To take out the Sim card or memory card just use another Sim card to press on the cards inside in order to release the spring.

The Sim slot and memory card slot are very badly designed.
Best and easy way to insert the cards : use the thick (and not the thin, that is important) end of another micro SD memory card to carefully push the cards inside the slots. Same to release the cards: you have to push the cards inside to release the spring mechanism.
If you try with the thin edge of the dummy plastic card as shown on the manual you will end damaging the slots.

I have bought lenovo tab A3000, exactly after 1 year its touch screen started giving problem like non sensitive and ghost touch. Even though I have covered with reliance extend warranty plan, there lenovo & Reliance service support for fixing this problem is very worst. They always reinstall the firmware and software of the tab, buy doing so the touch screen problem stops temporarily for 2 days and again repeating. For the last months I have visited service center more than 10 time but all forts are in vain.

Using Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 wifi version for the past 5 months...only Advantage is Battery backup....
Now Problem with My Tablet which is not booting ...Send back to Lenovo Service Center..Still 2 week no Response from them..This tablet is having Software issue..In terms of performance it is good...

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2014I bought it after seeing so many 5 stars and got greedy bco... moreso true with my case too.. i am finding it very difficult with this tab. since i bought it through online, the people at service centres denying even to look at it.
now i am neither able to open my lenova yoga 8 tab nor it getting charged too. i bought this just few months before

I've got the 3g/w version for this yoga tablet and i like game more especial when i'm bored and this what happens ...... it just freeze and freeze for 3-5 min and all this started just after the O.S update and i'm not so sure anymore what exactly wrong now. But this android 4.4 is not treating my bby well. And i cant download whatsapp can you sort that out plz.

Well i have the wi-fi version of this tab and the performance of the tab is awesome sometimes a bit slow for me but in other times it's good. 5 stars for this... :)

Any news regarding 5.0 Lollipop updates?? Latest firmware change the startup sound which seems something new is coming. Just wondering what is it and when.. :)

Bought the 3G version of the tab yesterday. Inserted a micro-sim in Sim card slot and it got stuck. Can't release it with the given dummy card or any other way. Have to take it to the service center as the retailer don't provide any kind of support. I thought when reading some comments that the people must be doing something wrong. But a hard way to learn there can be slots that are screwed from beginning. Poor poor design. Shame I was awed by the offer and went for a shoddy product.
