good phone for it's value if it had ip certification i would buy it. and yes we gonna enter 2019 and WE NEED IP certification no matter what people says it becomes a standard. Also improving the OS like a oneplus do will add more confort when using.
Pros: SD855 : No ntoch Amoled : 12gb Ram : Competitive price.
Cons: OS : IP certification ; camera has to be improved.

This phone is a million jackpot lottery won.
If it will be made as state above with price state above it will kill any and all competitors pretty easy.
The only problem is its going to be only china made i mean only for china country.
Like Mate 20 X hasnt been released for europe.

No 4K screen. No IP rating. Outdated OS. No headphone jack. Weak battery for the specs. Ugly design. This phone is being over-hyped simply because it has SD 855 and persons who buy this will likely regret it when other phones with 855 come out because they'll definitely be better and may not cost much more.

If the price will remains or stay this phone will kill any other competition.
Its like true excalibur among all other swords.
My Notebook cost 1022 euros 3 years ago and dont have 12GB of ram only 8 :-)
This going to be crazy one of a hell ride.
In other words non chinese competitors will have a really hard times to sell a single phone :-)

All non clumsy and non careless people know how to use its phone and when is good to hide it from a rain.
Accidentalm water damage is for small kids, clumsy and careless people and those who cant value money and precious things.
IP68 also makes your phone a lot more expensive.
Get Cat B25 for 60 and you are good to go :-)

Brand new phone lasted 9 hours with battery from 100% to zero when i was playing idle miner.
And that was 3000 mAh battery with 4GB ram.
This will last maybe 16 hours because of more battery more ram and much less powerhungry CPU.

Oh, come on lienovo, at least give it 4000mah. I don't mind pay another 100-200 euro for bigger battery capacity.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2018Why tf do people need 12Gbs of RAMIt is'nt as if 12gb ram is the only option available. There is the base variant with 6gb and 128gb rom for only 400$! Also it has the most latest sd855 in it with a notchless bezelless display. This is great value for money and you can't beat this at this price range. The battery capacity might be a problem but you never know what the 7nm built processor has got up its sleeve. This processor is said to be most power efficient. Also it has the latest innovations like in-display fingerprint sensor. AMOLED screen too. What more do you want!

This thing has got to launch in india. And very soon too. Along with the z5s. It is sure to send xiaomi,realme and honor packing. As for poco it is going to be one really tough competition.

Wow!! UNBELIEVABLE PRICE!!! That too the first SD855 phone. Never thought lenovo would join the fray. All hell would break loose when this beast launches globally!! Of course it may not launch globally. But if it DOES then xiaomi,honor and samsung will have a run for its money. Now that is SOMETHING to look forward to! The future does not seen that bleak anymore. Congrats LENOVO!!! You deserve it.
