phone could not even open the images which are taken from 2 MP camera, and its app lock is a little bit good.... but battery talk time battery backup is realy poor.

But the matter is LG mis leaded by specifying talk time as 17 hrs... and that's alll...Take dual sim nokia X1 01 with 13 odd hrs of talk time and then see which set Really DELIVERS as regards Talk time......its NOKIA FOR ME

Turn the colour of the disply fonts to white. You will definitely save battery. Dual sim phones always consume more battery, and if we go on juggling throughout the day through all the features supplied with the phone, the battery is sure to drain out early. I ran an 11MB .jar file and it executed wonderfully. The same is not possible with Samsung E2152, which does not allow to excute .jar files larger than 200KB, and also has a price tag of Rs.2700/- with a VGA camera and 2GB External Memory Support

fully faltoo phone. Lg specifies talk time as 17 hrs. But practically the talk time is 4 hrs. Lg website gives totally misleading and cheap tactics to improve sales. I got cheated by purchasing this phone bcoz my job was to stay connected but the phone perfomed miserably. Inspite of being rich in features talk time is pathetic. If i talk for one day the battery is discharged.

Somebody, 26 Aug 2011Is it hang often, restrat or not? Dual Sim but No Dual Standby. Wireless FM with recording. Innumerable Java applications can be installed. Auto generation of MP3 playlists based on Artist, Genres, Album etc. 1.3 MP Still & Video recording. JPG image editor. MP3 file editor for clipping ringtones. Only one applications stated above can run at a time. The earpiece serves as the speaker for songs etc.

Bought on 31/10/2011 for Rs.2300/-. Fantastic Phone, but no USB Cable / 3.5mm Earphone supplied in the box. I was lucky that the USB Cable supplied with my old Maxx (Chinese) MQ606 (which had to run thrice to the service centre in the last six months) was compatible in connecting the A230 to the PC using the PC Sync software (about 55MB) downloadable from LG Web Site. I am still deeply confused, whether, although being branded LG, I will face the same fate as with my previous Chinese phone ?

it is dual standy phone ... and the battery back up is very good .. i have to charged my baterry in 5 days .... no network problems phones os is very fast...... only problem is we cant run song while using messgae or web.. but this is the best phone i have ever seen

it is best phone i have ever seen ... it has bluetooth .. widget gadgets... we can install java apps in external memory ....i.e,unlimited apps ....camera quality is awesome 1.3mega camera looks like 2mp pixel....and it does not hang any time ...... istead of buying nokia c1-01 lg a230 is best .....

This phone costs roughly Php 3,000. Looks like a direct competitor for C2-00.
overall, very limited features for the price. the only one up is that is is tri-band, wireless FM and a 1.3 cam.
no bluetooth and 3.5 jack kills it for me.
