I just read that someone returned the phone because they had a signal problem. I am having the same problem. I can't get through a conversation without my call being dropped. I guess I am going to have to return it.

to Cingular rep:
I just returned this phone because it had horrible reception with Cingular. I thought it was a problem with Cingular, but it turned out to be the phone. It kept dropping calls and cutting off in the middle.
The phone is great otherwise, the features are great and offers things that other phones don't. Will it get better?? or just return it.

I have had the phone for 4 days and I like it. The RAZR V3 should have been released with UMTS/HSDPA. And the phone seems more more durable than the V3. I have the V3,V3x, and the TREO650. I think that the LG is 2nd after the V3x. Most LG's are not that good the LG CU500 is the best phone and it looks like they invested time and money in the design.A memory card should be included with the phone, the V3x came with 128MB card. But accessories I'm sure make alot of $$ for phone companies and carriers ..........

Just got this phone....Love It!!! MP3 rongtones no problem... I got it offline through Cingular even though there is no 3G area around...or u can call sales! Music Player is the Best! If you get a Micro SD Card for it (recommended) do NOT get a kingston... READ howardforums.com and you can see there is a problem with 2GB AND any kingston memory card!! Also you can send txt and other things while listening to the music... also get a pair of Bluetooth Stereo Headsets to listen to music wirelessly.

Hold down the * key (it should have a little shaking phone icon) to turn vibe mode on or off.

My phone didn't come with a usb or data cord to hookup to computer. Purchased from a Cingular store. Visited a few stores and attempted to purchase from web. Where can I get one?

This phone can vibrate without the ringtone. Just go in the function volume for ring tone and arrown down to where the phone just vibrates. LG did a good job with this phone, they just need to tighten the phone when unflip.

Hi yall, ok good point on the fact that LG made a phone that even though works amazing and has very little bugs its still rather poor in features or not as advance as other models coming out. Here is the reason... If you get a 3G phone is usually if you wanna use 3G services which we charge (NOW YOU MUST HAVE IT IF YOU WANT TO EVEN ACCESS THE CV FEATURE) the feature is 19.99 a month so how many people can afford to pay and extra $20 bucks on their bill? not many? so why make a phone that will cost 300 bucks? and then cost you 20 bucks to service a month? this is where lG has gone with it and were all manufactures go toward when making phones for the USA. 3G is new here and we want people on it, this phone just works and it was everything you might want on it, yes the features that it has are not the most advanced version IE the 1.3 mpx cam but for example going up to the now current 3mp cam will bump up the phone at least 100 more dollards so all and all this was a good choice, if this phones keeps working the way it is then LG has a winner in the USA market end of story...
