Hi, i'm thinking 'bout purchasing this phone, so any opinions are always welcomed =) This phone is 3G, so would all the features still work if I don't go with the internet plan? (features such as gps,tv,etc) Have you had any problems with the touch screen? Thanks!

I absoulutely love this phone! Its great for texting, and messaging. The only thing that's bad is the battery dies in less than an hour when i watch t.v. or go on myspace mobile. For only short time periods.

kayzee, 23 Nov 2008the battery dies out quickly though im not using it that much!!Mine's okay as far as battery life goes. I use msn messenger and browse a lot but don't have a problem. I exit the browser and sign off msn whenever I finish using it though. I guess if you don't do that it will drain your battery quickly

Type in on the dialpad 277634#*# then goto to modem settings/network mode/network mode then hit 2G only and it should only be edge and the gsm bands.
Yes it will accept a higher rated amperage battery!

bob, 04 Nov 2008wat is the max memorycard campasityI believe the max capacity is 4GB Micro SDHC...I tried to you the 8GB Micro SDHC but it was not compatible..If you want you could use the regular 4GB Micro SD...but I would suggest 4GB Micro SDHC because its a little bit faster...HC means High Capacity.

I personally think the phone is pretty awesome. :)
I have to charge it every night though because of the short battery life. At the moment, I am very disappointed because the charger will not charge the phone. >:(
And so, I am without a phone until further notice.

ps. for themes/apps/tweaking the phone, i recommend http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php
lists all you can do with ringtones, themes, games, etc.
it also answers the question about ringtone restrictions . i think around 300kb, but dont quote me.
try to google some more before you complain about this and that

i dont know where the low battery complaints are coming from. i go home from school on fridays and the battery lasts me the whole weekend before i go back to school to charge it. and i'm not just letting it sit there, i'm constantly playing games/texting/browing internet. hard to believe i'm the only exception among all of you
