LG Optimus G Pro hits Japan stores with a 5" FullHD display

04 April, 2013

The LG Optimus G Pro is now on sale in Japan through NTT DoCoMo. As you know, instead of the 5.5" FullHD display seen on the international version, the Japanese one features 5" IPS LCD of the same resolution.

On the inside, the NTT DoCoMo-bound Optimus G Pro packs 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. At the back, the 13MP camera is also left untouched from the international G Pro, as is the 3000mAh battery. However, it's now non-removable.

To pack an entire Optimus G Pro in what's essentially an Optimus G body, LG had compromised the slim profile of the device a bit. The Japanese Optimus G Pro measures 139 x 70 x 9.9mm.

Running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the LG Optimus G Pro is now available through NTT DoCoMo and is ready to take advantage of the carrier's LTE network.
