I've purchaged it from USA and tried with IDEA CELLULAR SIM in India, it is not activating. When I inserted my IDEA SIM, and tried with call it is connecting to Relaince Customer Care. Please help somebody how to activate it for IDEA.

Kindly let me know if there is any method to boost the ringtone volume as it is considerable low even for volume boosted audio files. Music and video players deliver much more volume. Ring volume and system volume, both are at full.
Speakerphone and headphones is giving awful quality and sound is cracky and noisy, but the phone earpiece is fine.
Any workaround for enabling GPS in Gsm mode?

I've bought from ebay and all gsm sims work fine. Could there be any problems like getting locked back to verizon and need to unlock again.

rK, 18 Jan 2012Buddy can u please tell that for what OS it will Update?it will update to some verrion of 6.5.xyz , but what giresh said is all true.. its an offical update avilable on lg US or verizon mobile website.

so u wont get manufactrar warranty out of US. u will get only seller's warranty..

I brought this phone 6 months bock from Ebay,its really good.
windows os can be updated
after updating the phone rocks with new features like xbox,office10 and 3g mobile hotspot.
camera clarity excelent,battery standby 2 days,multi task performance and touch quite ok.

It does not have an option to set regional settings to India.Hencer it is not getting connected when I am trying on GPS setting. Can some one help me onthis.

2. Why is it that no major mobile phone dealers like The mobile store, Univercell and others deosn't deal with this phone? Why is it rarely available?
