I bought LG's g1500 1 week back. I recharged the cell for 9 hours first
then I forced to recharge the cell every day (ie the recharge indicator gets decreased one by one after an hour after recharging) on the cell which is on right corner on top of the screen, what can i do

Everything on this phone is nearly perect except the shit ringtones problem can any one I said any one tell me how to download a polyphoniC ringtone on this plastic piece of shit................FUCK!

Recently i purchased LG G1500.
But i disoppoint with ALARM CLOCK.
Why because just it gives buzzer only 10 times and stops automatically with out user.i think you dont know alarm defination.we want snooze & stop options.
so kindly you provide new software with these options.

ok ok, here's the lowdown for ringtones, i found this site http://mobileplazza.directringtones.com and i txted for a polyphonic ringtone (this model was actually on the compatible list) and i got a reply with the WAP address, went to it through the internet on the phone, typed in the address and clicked on the picture of the ringtone and it said it was 'UNKNOWN CONTENT'!!! this phone is hopeless!!!

I got my LG G1500 fone in a bundle with $100 credit and couldn't pass that up, but i've tried to get logo's and polyphonics a numerous amount of times through the vodafone website (It came with a red sim) and it hasn't worked yet! Can this model take polyphonic ringtones? (it said it could on the box)
I just want some LINKIN PARK tunes, instead of christmas jingles which drive me NUTS! can someone please get back to me about my question, "Can it actually take polyphonics?" toodles!

this fone is a piece of shit, it has shit ringtones and loses signal everytime i use it, no games and it is hard for me to sens sms......i think that for the money i paid for this fonr i got a pretty crap deal and do not like it, and the battery life isnt that good and sum1 else already said that and it sucks. i think that the only good fone to get is a nokia because they are the only fones that you can trust,............sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks

This is a reasonable phone. You can get ringtones sent from a Nokia phone (I got a few from a Nokia 3310). But if LG provides some facility to download them directly it would be very nice. I too am confused about the availability of Infra Red. Is there someone out here who is successful in using IrDA with this phone? Battery life is not all that good. I get hardly 2~2.5 days back up time.
