Thanks Sumit for your seggestion to increase volume.
I am giving some tips, try it on your own risk.
1. The Master code for LG G1800 is 2945#*#
You can do almost everything with this code.
2. The Problem 'empty folder' occures when you format the drive using inbuilt file manager. This changes the default file system of the Phone Drive. This is the same case with Sound Recorder. Flash your phone to recover this problem.
3. Best phone for GPRS Internet connectivity through PC.
4. You can do more thing using *#3646633#
5. This phone does'nt suport downloadable Java games.
6. This phone comes with self charging USB cable for Internet access using GPRS.
7. You can Record unlimited using Sound Recorder.
8. While on call conversation just press MP3 side button, to record conversation.
9. All drivers(For WinXP, Win2000, Win98) are available on http://in.wowlg.com just select the phone model listed there.

hi
i brought this phone a month back i liked this phone overall but i just faced one problem
the mp3 volume is very low and the sound of the ring tone is also down. can not hear the sound when in the crowded area. so have to compulsory put on the vibrator mode.
can any one solve this problem
can any body give me suggession of how to increase the volume of the mp3 and the ringtone.

Hi, I own this phone for the past one and a half month. The phone is good for an average user. I experienced some problems.
1. It shows the 'Emergency Call' message when other phones (I tried Nokia)show 1 or 2 coverage bars. I dont know whats the problem, I think its signal capturing power is not so good. Anyone know how to correct it plz mail me.
2. Then whenever I use it as a mass storage device (60MB, and will automatically turned off) and when I reboot it after that most of the times I am unable to view the contact list, it comes to the first screen, whenever the view button is pressed. Then you should restore all settings. Luckily the contacts wont get deleted.
Then I am getting 4days battery backup for say 20-30 mins of usage/day. (Not including MP3 hearing time). But if the vibrator is on I only get 2 days battery backup.
The customer service is VERY BAD. I posted the above problems in the given form at wowlg.com and till now I dont get any reply...not even a confirmation mail.
IS THER ANY SOFTWARE AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE PHONE? IF SOMEONE KNOW SUCH A S/W PLZ INFORM ME.

Hi i recently brought this phone for Rs. 5900. Its great and sound quality is good. The screen goes really invisible outdoors.
I want to know if i can install more games in the phone . Please help!

man this is a great cell....for those ppl havin problems in gettin wallpapers .. can visit this site http://www.freemobilefun.net/ right click and save as on desktop...... the phone supports jpeg so see to it tht the pic is in the format paste it on the images folder....n the image size has to be 128 by 128 n shuldnt exceep 50 kb..... and can n e 1 tell me where to get games for this phone ... n does it support java games???

I bought the LG1800 recently. Not able to configure it to upload music to the phone from my pc. I have winxp. Catalogue says I can download it from the site, the links are dead... Does anyone have the driver for Phoenix mass storage? Help me and please send me the driver....can i use this driver to connect to internet through gprs and access internet with this mobile.... please help me ....send medrivers and its utilities to my mail

I buy this phone.
I can upload MP3 and Images on this phone via USB Cable. But I can't upload Games and Java applications.
So tell me How can I upload Games, Java Applications, Themes on my LG G1800. Any software for it ? plz tell me as soon as possible.

Hi All,
The "Empty folder" problem exists in all new phones of LG G1800, the only solution to this problem is visit nearest LG GSM Customer care center to upgrade the software.Its done free & just takes 5-10 minutes.I too had this problem but now it working fine.Hope this solves every ones problem
