Ordered this beast today (32gb). Cant wait.
Why not wait for Mi4? Only marginal upgrade over G2.
The screen is probably better with 84% gamut. Camera might have tiny bit more detail.
But G2 has OIS. Also bit shorter than Mi4. And fully compatible 4G network. And finally, 4K is also possible with mod.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2014i have rooted my g2 korian version F320L. but now, before c... moredownload ADB + Fastboot interfere .exe files from google or anything else and connect phone via USB then open CMD(Windows command) and write: adb devices, if it shows something all is good, then go and write: fastboot oem unlock and it will unlock bootloader, thats how it is on nexus devices and i think its same on traditional LG u can search in google as well but there is no point to unlock it i have locked and i have G3 rom installed with no prob

Hi
Is anyone facing problems with viber and g2? Viber doesn't seem to recognize any new viber Contacts added subsequent to installation unless I Uninstall and reload viber.
Is anyone facing refresh contacts issues with g2?
Also viber is very slow in operation in g2..Take ages to send a message to a new contact or make a call from the contact list

I have the LG LG-D801 from t-mobile and kitkat 4.4.2 and got this update that helps the phone even more.It's 310 mb and after a chat talk I was told this.
"Those are software updates for the G2 which you will receive between June 30 - August 4.This update provides features and improvements like: •Adds Knock Code Security feature •Battery expectations: Android 4.4 KitKat
•Google Wallet improvements •Google security fixes •Auto-brightness improvements
•Visual voicemail improvements
•Wi-Fi calling improvements

I am a proud owner of LG G2, D802 version, with Android 4.4.2. I have to say I love the design, the screen and the speed of this device, even the battery backup impressed me a little, but when it comes to the camera, I have to say that the quality of the photos is disapointing.. my almost 2 years old Lumia 920 is way better when it comes to camera quality, in all aspects... I'm sorry to say this, but it is true... Even the photos taken with Google Camera are better than the photos taken with the default camera app, but still isn't enough to get on par with other flagship devices... but that's my opinion... My guess is that they should change the camera algorhytms and update is asap, because that's why they don't succeed in today's market...
And I also have a question: how to enable dolby surround in my G2? Thanks

LG is crap. i used 3 different mobiles of LGs three of them the same problem of being held during call. you cannot end the call unless other person do not ends it. because your screen is black out and held.

I am already using my G2 for a month now, was upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 so far so good..no problem at all, this phone is very powerful, no lagging, the camera is very good, battery last for 3 to 4 days on normal use, like listening to music, browsing, phone calls..etc. I'm very satisfied with this phone.

The endurance rating of lg G2 seems strangely low compared to the endurance rating of G2 mini.
The individualy measured endurance for web browsing, talk time, video playback and standby are all better for the G2 yet the G2 mini has a better endurance rating.

i have rooted my g2 korian version F320L. but now, before creating backup it says that the bootloader locked. now i dont know how to unlock that bootloader. can anyone please help me unlocking bootloader..??

Hey buddies, I bought my g2 in March 2014 and was enjoying it a lot till I updated to kitkat 4.4.2, from the day it was updated the battery doesn't last a day. About heating up at back, I felt it warms a little when used extensively & better when compared to s4. Waiting for 4.4.4 update with new UI and hope battery issues will be solved in that update. But I would recommend this mobile heavily to anyone who is willing to get one in their hands. HTC one(m8) is also an good alternative which am gonna buy in a month's time.

I have had remand phones ad the battery hardly last 3 hours not doing anything and it takes forever to send messages, I basically have to restart my phone I want to send or recieve a message and phone heats up very quickly
