It should work on any LG G2 with any version of OS as long as LTE is available in network mode or you can also change network mode to LTE from hidden menu.

I tried using my friends jio sim over my lg g2 but it does not shows any netwok over signal bar and shows a (❌) over signal bars after searching for about 1-2 minutes....can you help me in this case ?

When i tried my friend's jio sim on my lg g2 (a foreign mobile) then it does not show any signal and after searching for about 2 minutes , it shows cross(❌) over the signal bar...is it due to not having LTE band no.40 (2300 mhz.) on my lg g2 ?

Note: if they ask which phone you are using tell them any one phone list of Jio supported devices
You will receive a message to alternate no. provided while taking sim from JM-JIONET after a day or 2 saying:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing Jio. We have received your application for new connection. Your order number is N00000XXXXX.
Thank you
Team Jio
Once receive the above message now sim is ready to be activated.
Call 1800-890-1977 from any other phone/sim and data will be activated(within 1hour) after verification.
Install myJio app from appstore and all other apps in myJio app.
Now insert sim in LG G2 make sure Network mode is GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto.
Enable data and magic you will see 4G data is now enabled, you will need to install Jiojoin app to make calls/sms from your phone, you will receive instructions from Jio via msg.
Now time to call 1977 from Jiojoin and activate voice/sms.
After about 1hr, you will see Enjoy Jio preview Offer in myJio app and expiry date(90 days).

Nagkiran, 08 Aug 2016Only LG G2 D802T supports 4G but D802 doesn't support 4GLG D802(I own) Supports Airtel 4g(used earlier) and Jio 4g(I'm using).
D802 & D802T no difference in hardware it was just a marketing stunt and the last update of 30D is same for both D802 & D802T.

I bought this phone is Jan 2014 as this was my first android, the shop attendant also told me the -ve part is only the battery life. I being person, not much phone addicted and limited to taking calls only, was taken back that the battery life is too much less. I have it charged it full at nite, and next morning it is alreay down less than 50%. I have been putting it to charge for almost 4-5 hrs, but it nowhere near 100%. Yes it looks great in a females hand. Camera is good. I gave it to lg svc centre, and they say no prob detected. But whats the point if battery is not working. I wish to sell it now and buy another phone.

If you want 5mp selfie buy htc one m8 It`s amazing phone
but it has 4mp rear camera , it will be good enough if you don`t crop or zoom your photos.
