I have one and it's great. There's a few changes with the Kitkat (4.4.2) update. The UI has added transparency so icons no longer dominate the screen. Quicker response to actions, more fluid response from the camera and other general speed increases.
What has changed for possibly the worst, interference in the left-channel from the headphone jack, reduction in multi-task performance; this does yield longer times between charges. From a synthetic benchmark point of view, it will seem like your device is under-performing.
Basically it will perform to it's best when pushed although only then; a placebo effect used to sell phones and it worked on me. If I was a gamer, I would still stick with his handset as it is great in most respects.
The rear-mounted buttons are hard to get used to at first and double-tap on the screen is quick and convenient.
In summary, until LG decide to fix the audio glitch and add support for Knock Code (where you choose a shape as code to knock onto the screen) it might not be worth updating to Kitkat just yet.

Cn you please add the LG G" battery test on kitkat to your wonderful "battery life tool"? I will like to see how much battery life I may get based on my usage pattern.

I own the phone and it works just great ,butt...I own the 16Gb version and with a 13Mgpixel camera I deeply feel the need of an micro sdcard.The phone`s agenda is not quite smart because u have to search even the exact saved name,or one part of the entire name(surname or first name)if you type to parts of the full name but not in the known order all you get is a "can`t find" message. The Lg site does not provide infos about any phone usual accessories(wall charger, data cable)so I bought a HTC one and the phone keeps telling me every 2 min. that it is charging ,not normal but what should I do?

Had it for a few days...
Everything works as it should.
Absolutely fine after update, no issues with wifi or anything. I have korean version bought from uk seller.
There is travel in the back cover when you push on it.Hate that, other people who saw it don't care.
Camera is great.

i buy this phone before one month . its very fast . no any problem battery very nice screen very nice .camera also very nice . all the things are very good , and also i see some comments , after upgrading kit kat , he seen some problem in the phone , i upgrade no any problem . so . don,t afraid , just buy , now , its very nice . amazing phone
