I have owned an LG G2 for two month and it is the best phone I have ever had. My previous phones were HTC HD and S3. LG G2 is by far faster and better in all the fields of comparison only the camera is a tad slower due to optical image stabilization.

          I will trade-in my G2 for G Pro 2 and i dont wait for G3 anymore,G Pro 2 is the dream set i m waiting for,its bigger screen.

Now i dont bother/care about the Kitkat upgrading for the G2 anymore,no time for that,G Pro 2 will be preloaded with it.

I will say my G2 is heading to retire pretty soon.

I bought G2 32 GB version before a week ago and I am proud of myself that I went for this set rather than S4 and Xperia Z1. The Plus point of S4 is only some more features and for Z1: The Design of handset. While LG G2 is a combo pack!!! Amazing design and features. Just waiting for 4.4 version.

Li-Ion batteries are more resistant to overcharge or I could be wrong.

AnonD-217733, 10 Feb 2014Well my G2 doesn't heat up and the battery life is great...... moreHi, I understand about the phone design how they are made, but did you receive the update the 4.4.2 update, which is why you don't get those problem?

I dont have LG G2, but Iim planning to get G pro 2 or G3, becuase they will long lasting battery. LG G flex is a good phone its available in UK. But I'll wait.

Im scared of the li-polymer battery, hope it doesn't explode as its not resistsnt to over as li-ion batteries are, which are being used in new and latest smartphones, mobiles and tablets today.

Im not going becuase SpecialEdition reassured me that it doesn't and Li-polymer batteries are safer than li-ion. Although I have read on a website that li polys are more resistant to overcharge.

Decided to treat myself to something nice as a celebration gift for getting a nice job.

I'll have to say that the phone completely blew me out of the sky; I've had large experience with LG phones in the past; Owned an Optimus One, had hands-on experience with the 4X HD when it came out, same for LG Optimus x2, LG Viewty II and several pre-android ancestors.
I'll have to point out that LG is one of the most reputable phone manufacturers i've ever had experience with, therefore the choice of this particular phone was no ordeal between the counterparts from Samsung or HTC, but on with the feedback, shall we?

The design is partially remnant of the previous ones from Optimus series, which has always boded with me well. The screen is large, yet not ''overly large, how in the God's name do you fit this thing in your hand?''.
Speculations have circled around for a long time that the iPhone screens are pretty much on par, if not the same LG screens. While i can't confirm or deny this theory, i'll have to say that the iPhone 5 and LG G2
are like blood brothers when it comes to on-screen details, perhaps a little more livery in the color spectrum from LG's side.
The 2.26 Ghz Quad core Processor, paired with 2 Gigabytes of ram, handle like a miracle under pressure, even to the deal that it's became twice as fast for me to interact with my phone, rather than my laptop.
As an audiophile, i'll have to say that i've had the pleasure of experiencing many upon many brands, though the one feature that most definitely sold the phone for me was the sound quality. The original LG earbuds bear an incognito/humble design and name that doesn't raise many expectations from them, which is exactly where I made my fair share of mistake. The Dolby Mobile Support ensures a wonderful experience while watching High Quality movies or listening to music, which to me has always been important.

                                      In summary, the phone is well worth the price, i believe, as it delivers on all levels;

The camera is responsive and allows for you to snap quality screens.
The sound is pleasing down to the smallest detail you hear, whether that'd be Jazz, Progressive House, Hip Hop or rock, making you feel like you're listening to music in cinema.
Screen quality furthermore compliments the sound, whether that'd be movies or youtube videos you're watching.
Battery life is durable, seems like a major improvement from Optimus 4X HD.

Hope this helps people with making their decision, as i've been nothing, but satisfied with this phone.
