Aadi, 16 Mar 2016Hi, I'm using this phone past one year & it's battery b... moreI managed to kill the battery once in 10 hours... continuously browsing on the internet with 100% screen on time. So yep, depends how you use your phone. Plus it may slightly differ from one version of Android to another. Most of the time I reach 75 hours of uptime with like 2 hrs on screen these days... but I am the person to charge it at least at 25-30%. On 2G I think over 100 hours is realistic if you don't play with it. :) But then again, my phone is already year old, new one may hold up better.

Rooting,installing twrp,flashing custom rom is easy.Well i have learned trough some easy understanding tutorials from XDA site,those guys are masters of androids.First of all find out model you are using (in my case its D802 model),because you need to know that before starting to do anything (some custom roms are model specified and flashing methods maybe can be little different,but not too hard to do yourself,all you need is to be smart enough to read and to follow instructions without your intuition or any "shortcuts" :D ).In my case,i have learned all this in about 15 minutes and i don't understand english absolutelly 100%.

Mohi, 16 Mar 2016I have already updated My LG G2 Jellybean to kitkat and wa... moreill suggest same method .... if u did trough ota then push ota trough settings again if u did trough lg pc suite then push it again or if u did trough flash tool then u must use ota option but for manual update this manual method is avaliable for D800 (G2 at&t version )

Mohi, 16 Mar 2016I have already updated My LG G2 Jellybean to kitkat and wa... moreit depends on what version Phone you have but if the rom is availeble for your Phone you have to install the pc software and hook it up to the pc and use the software suite to update to 5.0

SD 800 is clocket at 2.3Ghz and has Adreno 330 (Adreno 330 is shown to be about 50-100% more powerful in many benchmarks)
Yet You are the only person who can truly answer your question. But you should rephrase first. Of course it can perform better, the numbers are crystal clear about that, but will it? That depends on you. Do you just want to use the device as a phone/light internet or media browser/notepad? Then you won't likely notice much of a difference. Are you heavy gamer and do you use tons of demanding apps? Then the SD 800 should have a decisive edge performance-wise. Take a sober look at your needs and expectations. That should help you see whether you would be able to utilise the potential of your device or if you would not lose much if anything by picking the device which has the features you want.
Or you can bypass this dilemma completely by picking one fo the Korean variants of the G2 (there are three with different LTE band sets). Korean G2s have both SD 800 and memory card slot.

Pls i want someone to help me chose between lg g pro and lg g2. My question is does the snapdragon 800 SoCc in the G2 offer a noticeable performance boost over the snapdragon 600 in the G pro? If not i'll just opt for the g pro as it has expandable memory which is an advantage at least to me.

well this device is amazing no dounb about it but id like this one to be updated in fact other manufactures has a lot of phones to be updated and thats not teh acse with lg.

@G5 i agree with your point of view on all this.But probably is because they launched G3,G4,G5...where is g3 slightly stronger with his 2.5 ghz Krait on snapdragon 801 with same 2 gb rams and 16/32gb but with micro sd slot card....G4 is kinda failure,because they rolled G5 very fast.Main difference and largest difference is Camera 13mp on G2 and G3,while on G4 and G5 is 16mpx....Even batteries are same size on g2 g3 g4...on g5 is 2800 instead of 3000 mAh as usually,cuz they are showing off with their brand new Kryo processor 64bit architecture and they testing now batterie limits with this processor.

well if lg K8 is able to run 6.0 how come that G2 being krait400 sd800 not the poor mtk ... with 2.26 ghz not 1.3 and more ram not 1.5 insted 2gb and betetr grphic card same hardware than nexus 5 6.0 already and lg still has the device stock with 5.0.2 come on atleast we should have 5.1.1 this is terrible.... not that 5.0.2 works bad well atleast mine is ok with that version on my cingular D800 but ...... id like to get G4 ux atleast so i dont have to use cloudy or cheloz wich are plagged with bugs ....

Oh yeah,almost forgot it,before starting doing anything do homework-check is your G2 D800/D801/D802....etc etc etc...and do Backup,its up to you.Some roms like M custom roms on 6.0 Android OS version maybe will need slightly adjustments with camera,but dont worry-simply installing another camera app will do the job.

@Rahab I dont think there will be official M update,because there is only 5.0.2 as latest official version of Android OS,but you can always root your phone,release this G2's inner beast and flash twrp-custom rom of your choice(one you will find perfect for yourself).Personally i recommend everyone to root,install twrp and flash custom rom,because totally stock rom is like having s*x with condoms,if you get me? :) (kinda safe,but feeling is dead) :D

TechSrb, 07 Mar 2016I got installed,Google Edition 1.5 debloated stock rom on 5... moreI know exactly what you mean. I will try the 1.5 ROM as well and I recomend everyone to try it. Hopefully LG does release an official 6.0 soon.

Hi, i have g2 korean version, i'm facing a problem when i try to activate an internet bucket by dialing *5501# it makes a call instead of acitvating the bucket. plz help fix this issue.
