After r... moreYou can be rest assured that,your G2 will work as charming as before.
i m a heavy user of G2,after rooted,i do not come across any lagging,temperature raising,battery consumption issues,NOT even a single auto reset/self-rebooting kind of stuff occurring on my G2.It never never happens.But then i still need to repeat this,leave the root directory alone(i.e do not alter/delete any things from there),unless you are pretty certain what you are doing,also do take note that,after rooting,an icon named Superuser will be created,just leave that alone,it is fine,it won't cause any harm,you can explore the app,but DO NOT delete anything where the default apps are installed or else it will be gone forever,factory reset will not get back those apps.Unroot can be done,but i will never do that for the 4.9" screen,never ever.
I m grateful i did the RIGHT thing to root G2,i feel very comfortable with the wider viewing angle,the texts are bigger and easy to read.Web videos/gaming are the best one.The feeling is really good.
No don't get me wrong,i m not encouraging people to root G2,it's up to individual,if you consider the 4.9" is good enough for you,then leave it as it is,no harm.
Please thanks the blogger who had created this marvellous simple rooting tutorials for the benefit of those who really wanted the true 5.2 inch wide screen,if not him i m still squeezing on that 4.9" with that soft bar hanging on the side,i really hate that.

Most brands don`t like to say if their phones are Qi compatible (wireless charging). For example LG doesn`t say that the nexus 4 is qi compatible (However Google does). Sony offers a "magnetic base" for charging the Xperia Z ultra, but also doesn`t say if it is wireless charging or simply a gimmick to use the micro usb port.
Well, my question is if the "classy" G2 is also Qi compatible ?
And my sugestion is... to inform if the devices can be charged wirelessly (wich is really cool and practical...)

Best handset I've ever used. Shame about the No SD card slot and no android software update. But this is the best phone available on the market right now.

AnonD-53402, 17 Oct 2013Hi,i want 2 ask u if any of LG software features or any opt... moreAfter rooting, the G2 software features and options will remain intact,and function as per normal,but you are strongly advised not to meddle with the root directory yourself,there is where all the default G2 stuff are kept,then you will be on the safe side.If you prefer to,you can go ahead to perform a hard factory reset,your device will still be rooted,no doubt it is unnecessary.
The purpose of rooting G2 in this manner is to get rip of the soft buttons,you don't need to explore the root directory.
The rooting process will do all the necessary trick itself,after successfully rooted,get the GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys app from play store,install it and do your own preference settings,note: your G2 MUST be rooted in order to use this app,otherwise it won't work.
Once everything goes well,there you are,the soft buttons will be hidden(tap/swipe it for it to reapper again),then you will be greatly HAPPY and please to see your own wide real FULL 5.2" screen on your G2,you are going to feel pretty good for sure.
How to perform rooting,go to the web link below,everything is in step by step guided,and very clear instructions with pictures illustration,it's pretty simple and easy on your way to the big wide screen.
*** Please be advised that,after rooting,your G2 warranty might be voided,but i have no time to bother about that,a wider full screen is more important than any others,anyway you still can unroot it back to the original state,so no worries...
