G5 user, 27 Feb 2016well for those who love the G2 this is what i do recommend ... moreI agree...have tried them all but i allways flash kit kat at the end...

well for those who love the G2 this is what i do recommend .... if u want better battery and fast accurate camera with not much blur.... then stay on kitkat ..... if u want a beauty interface and u take picture to steady objects then use lollipop ... ill stay on kitkat due to the camera performance ..... missing the lollipop ui but well i do prefer camera and lockscreen wich are nicer ...... waiting for 6.0.1 or maybe 5.1.1 from lg

akason, 26 Feb 2016my phone is totaly down and the phone refused to charge...s... moreif the phone is not charging then u must check first is the phone is able to turn on still if the pin on the device where the data cabe is plugged in is defective,,, u can chek the cable and the charger too,try to use another one,,,,if having same issue then might be that ur phone has no software ,or it is corrupted,then i have to download flashtool and restore to factory

jaah jaah, 23 Feb 2016guys i'm in serious mess....i really need your help....yest... morewell this is because surely u tried to install a customer rom cloudy or cyanogen or u tried to use a customer recovery... thats only way u can get this situation because i had to restore my phone while trying to install a customer rom,process failed and i was getting too many errors while having the device plugged on the computer....after iinstalling factory data img everything will be fine,...make sure that u have the right model before to download and flash any file other wise ull get things worst.

I read that the American carriers are using MEID instead of an IMEI so it might not be wrong... maybe there is somebody else with the VS980 who can verify if it shows MEID only. Anyway, it might still be advisable to try and flash a new ROM and/or try to figure out what you did wrong the first time. You said soemthing about downloading a new set of radios. That is one possible cause if the radios don't correspond with your model/region. Hmm and I see you mentioned doing ESF backup. Could you tell us more about that? That might help to restore the device.

akason, 23 Feb 2016please tell me how to unbrick my lg g2....the problem is wh... moresame prblm i faced as i rooted it via xda on my verizon...but thn i flashed it with original vz software and now it's running fine...i think u should flash it via otg...that should solve the prblm

I guess, you managed to damage your system. You can try to factory reset the phone but I don't really think it will help, so if it doesn't, head over to the XDA and learn how to flash a brand new stock ROM for your device (back to stock thread).
