Is there not enough room for a card slot, is it due to the 3000 mAh battery? or they want us to make use of their cloud storage which is impractical for those who are not constantly online. It is strange, GS4 is thinner yet it has a removable battery and a card slot. The best thing LG could do is to release globally the international version together with the Korean version(32GB internal with a card slot).

IDK about some of these people on here talking about no sd card for the US, its's the US people order it online from Korea it my end up being cheaper. I'm on T-Mobile so where I get my phone doesn't matter as long as I can put my sim card in..
Now I'm just waiting on the Note 3 to see what it gots.

The specs look amazing, but why would LG not want to sell the Korean version worldwide?
- costs less to make/sell/maintain just one product worldwide and at home
- swap out the battery for a spare battery (kept in your pocket) without having to plug the device in
- replace the battery when it starts to deteriorate after a year or so
- micro sd slot for expandable storage
I think that the 3000mAh stepped battery was put in purely for marketing reasons, so that the G2 can game the specs and post a battery life which outpaces the competition. In order to do that, they had to remove the micro SD slot to make room.

Riz RiyMod, 25 Aug 2013Dear All, there are 3 Versions in Korea, all are "Much... moreHope LG release any of these version in addition to the international model. If LG doesn't listen and insist on releasing globally the international model only, then they suffer profit loss. No card slot is a sign of company's weakness. Who would think that a 32 GB without a card slot is better or on par with the one having a card slot and a 32 GB internal memory. A buyer would always check every feature a phone has. And having no memory is a negative sign that customer will be discouraged to buy. The reason why customers need an expandable memory is very simple, PEACE of mind, when u have a 64 uSD card backup u wouldn't worry that u will be out of memory and u will not be stressed on optimizing our limited 32 GB. Why would LG deprive their international customers of such a basic feature, and having card slot is also good in the event that u need to reset your phone, your data won't be wiped out because they are saved in the uSD. I challenge anyone in this forum to discredit my view. Assuming there are 2 models available, which one would a buyer choose if he wanted an LG G2, I believe he would chose the one with uSD slot.

AnonD-166349, 24 Aug 2013Is Great Device and I would of bought it if was available n... more32GB should be the minimum size if it doesn't have a memory card. And hoping for a 64GB soon. G2 is the best smartphone in 2013. I tried the GS4 and it lags upon launching the apps button from the home screen and vice-versa. I will definitely buy this G2 after skipping GS4,HTC One and Xperia Z. Many said that HTC One is the best, but by simply calculating its Leng-to-Width ration, it's more than the average, that means it is unnecessary longer with respect to it's screen size, and the Top and bottom bezels are so large, it's ugly in contrast to the "bezeless" G2. People call HTC One or Iphone design as premium just because of their metallic(unsafe due to electrocution and radiation) finish, but no, design must start with the best Length-to-Ratio first. HTC One= 137.4/68.2=2.015, LG G2=138.5/70.9=1.953, GS4=136.6/69.8=1.957. LG's control button's rear location is practically the best, in contrast to HTC's top power button design which is hard to access. I would highly recommend the G2,though the memory could have been bigger like 64 or 128 GB.

no card slot = no future for the lg g2
32gb is a joke for such a mobile, they should have added a microsd slot.
