i don't know why people are complaining about external memory cards, when the smart phones have capability of USG OTG and cloud supports... for me 16gb storage is enough for a phone.. still i'm not able to use all the goodies

Only samsung knows what people want???
Ok put a fm radio in samsung galaxy then we talk.
32 gb of memory is ok, if the phone needs another battery so change it, just have to go in a service point one in 2-3 years.
I love this phone but first i want to know the price ;P

AnonD-108057, 10 Aug 2013blah blah, no card slot complains here and there. Ask yours... moreAt least I use my memory card to save the photos, music, HD videos and etc. without having to worry that I might ran out of memory soon. At least my Optimus G Pro now has more than 16 and 32 GB now. What do you do when you only have 16 GB of internal memory and you do not have a device to back up your files and you just realized that there will be no more space for your new files? That's a pain in the a$$ right? :P

i keep reading about some want the card some don't. i for one, want a micro SD and battery removal option. i just installed the tomtom app and downloaded maps on micro SD. my wife's phone i has it on her phone memory and now only has 4 gb left to use. i have it on my micro SD and if i factory default my phone i never have to worry about the redownloading all of the 2GB of maps. there you have it from me. i won't buy a phone without those two options. anyone saying they don't need microSD better thing again!

blah blah, no card slot complains here and there. Ask yourself when was the last time you touched your card, besides the moment you slotted it in? do you take out the card and transfer files via card reader or just plug in the phone?

Common sense would dictate if u take away user option to expand memory then 32gb at least, is the way to go. A no brainer by LG. 3000mah battery is a no brainer as well if the battery cannot be removed by the user. At least the battery wont go through it's allotted charge cycles within 6 months before wearing out. HTC screwed around with users' options where storage and battery are concerned while putting weak batteries and meagre storage in it's phones and paid dearly. I hope HTC is paying attention here.

no card slot...this will die out...im using the g pro f240l korean version and its the king 10/10...if only lg upgrade the software to latest android os it would be a killer phone ...lg do not spoil the name because of a card slot...

In Memo eXpress at Robinson's Pioneer they already sell it but I think I am going to buy it online at Kimstore on Facebook it is way cheaper! You can have it for only less than P22,500 when in malls you can get it for P27,990. I will get the G Pro and see if this G2 is worth buying. If the variant that will come here to the Philippines has a micro SD slot but only comes with a smaller battery of only 2,610 MAh then I will go for it coz the battery is user replaceable and I also hope that LG will include an extra battery just like the ones being sold in Korea.

The Optimus G Pro was announced last February 2013. I saw this phone on the last week of March. I'm so glad that I found it. BUT... April, May, June, July have passed and there's no official phone from the store here in our country (Philippines). I was so disappointed that time.

And now, I found this new, elegant phone from LGG AGAIN and I think, I'll be able to touch it on December 2013. wew.. what a delay
