Anonymous, 20 Sep 2015i am using kitkat version in lgg2 tried to update with loll... moreu can download lg pc suite from website than install in ur pc, when u connect ur phone to pc pls let the pc update software drive of phone first after that ur phone can connect properly and then open lg pc suite program it will try to connect to your phone, The upgrade info will show u in lg pc suite interface.

Battery was class leading on release too. There is also a version of Cyanogenmod 12 (based on Lollipop 5.1) for the G2, should you be interested in that sort of thing.

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2015i am going to buy g2 can some one give me opinion is that g... moreyes my friend u can go ahead and do it... lg g2 is an excellent device i have no regrets..purchase it original and brand new do not purchase used or refurbished because ur user experince might be different than one i have...because u dont know what was wrong with it....overall speedy.. no lags no overheat screen is excellent im pleased with knock code there is no need to use the power button almost for anything ...screen is sharp one of the best in its class,camera is excellent if u allow device to focus properly battery is no worry for u it last me 2 days with heavy wi-fi usage i cant tell u something like 50 % per day....from 5-6 hours on screen streaming youtube wich is my daily usage ....and brighness 50% meaning that if u set it less than that u may get 15% more than i do.charges very quick 2 hours with original charger from 0-100 % ... and it is a good time i had a doubt before if it was quickcharge 2.0 or not be i can garantee that it is. there is a change lg updatre the device to 5.1.1 with g4 interface wich is good but if we get 6.0 that wold be amazing ....screen may suffer scratches if u are not carefull like with ay glass so purchase a creen protector like i did or tempered glass.

Do you think (someone who has been using the phone for a long time would be appropriate to answer) that the phone needs a screen protector or does the gorilla glass protect it enough.I know that it will break but mostly i mean about scratches (sand,keys etc)

pino, 19 Sep 2015with 4.4 and 4.2 it worked flawless for me but i ended up d... moreI have upgraded my LG G2 to lollipop 5.02. It runs much better compared to KK, and improved battery life. I have done factory reset after the upgrade. I believe that's obligatory, if you want to make lollipop run well on LG G2.

Analyst, 19 Sep 2015Can someone tell me how fluid the knock code on this device?with 4.4 and 4.2 it worked flawless for me but i ended up disabling it to save about 8% battery life in standby.
i cant speak for 5.x because i dont see the point in risking to update a device that does everything already and gives me 9+ hours screen on time over 4 days stanby consistently.
If it aint broken dont be a dummy and try to fix it.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2015Hi pls I bought lg g2 vs980 LTE n when I change band to LT... moreSorry to break it to you, but it does not look good for you. From what I've been able to google, Ghana has Surfline LTE operating at band 7 (2600mhz) frequency.
VS980, LS980 and D800 G2 models are not band 7 LTE-capable. Sorry, you bought yourself a phone with the wrong set of frequencies.

Hi pls I bought lg g2 vs980 LTE n when I change band to LTE\CDMA it shows no network but to global it shows H. Hw can I force it to LTE. Am in Ghana. Help??
