Hi, I need your help. There is a recent system or app update (not from play store) and it is automatically downloaded and installed. I wasn't sure about the update since I just cleared up my notifications. Suddenly i get an error that facebook app crashes and other apps. Then I restarted my phone and stuck in LG logo. I tried doing the hard reset, however, after agreeing to factory reset my phone it comes to boot loop. I have this phone for almost 4 or 5 years and it is the first time I encountered this issue. :(

If my g2 wasn't running as great as it is I wouldn't be scared of that as first choice. Nokia 8 also came out recently if you are into stock android and seemed to outperform samsung galaxy s8 in speed tests for less price. G6 would still be my preference because of the design.

You will get a li... moreYeah that will work temporarily, until you enter network settings, disable your mobile internet or reboot the phone. I found better way is to root the thing and change one number in one of the system files to unlock all options. Google around as I don't remember which anymore. Usually 4g isn't listed cause you're using the phone in the wrong country (can work if you're lucky) or because your provider wasn't acknowledged as 4g one at the time the software was released (especially if you are still on kitkat this happens often). I'm on kitkat myself and had to do that.

Hello guys looking for your Help
I have this phone from 2.5 years and i love this phone but recently had a problem that its WIFI not working and its stuck on "Turning on WIFI".
I went to repair shop and he changed WIFI IC CHIP but problem still not solved.
Please suggest if this problem can be solved with another IC CHIP ?
or the only last solution is to change motherboard?

BTW , i used between LG G2 & redmi note 4 these phones (LG G3, iphone6, samsung galaxy S7 Edge"screen broken", iphone 6s )

great phone, one of the best. Even now it's good. Main drawbacks: no microsd and weak gps fix speed and precision

TwistedNerve, 16 Aug 2017the G2 isn't a 4G phoneType 3845#*802# if you have D802 version. You will get a list of different options. Select LTE only. It will work on 4G. But in India it works only on 1800 MHz. we can access data but cant make call on 4G network.

I got this phone since 2014. Don't got any problems with it. Now i am with iphone 6s but i keep my G2 just in case. This is the best phone i ever had! And the battery life is awesome!
