I bought lg g2 today and facing horizonal and vertical lines in high color mostly in video, pictures and also sensitivity problem screen jumping sometimes, is it normal or i got a defective piece?

Bought this phone in Pakistan 4 months back. Without any damage (water or dropping the phone) the touch sensor just started going dead on different spots. I had to get the LCD replaced. As i was researching for the solution to this problem, i found out that this phone has this particular issue very common. You can find this info all over the internet. Also the technicians at market admitted that they have come across many G2's with the same issue. Later i found out that few of my colleagues have the same phone and 2 of them also had this issue.
P.s. Replacement LCD's are not gorilla glass they are plain LCD's

unknown, 18 Aug 2015it is hardware, i have the d800 and part of the screen work... moreI had the same problem. bought a 802 updated to lolipop and the screen went nuts. Touched somewhere and showed someplace else. By researching on forums i found out that it was due to refurbish sets with 802 body and 800 board. when i opened the rear cover (with care) found out it was true. The pre-loaded software is of 802 but when u updated to 802s lollipop this happens. My suggestions return the phone (if u can) and insist on checking the board (if u r buying a phone without warranty).

Since the Lollipop update, my battery drains so quickly. Any fix on this? Thanks!

Neo, 18 Aug 2015I have G2 TMobile D801, When i updated it from Kitkat to Lo... moreit is hardware, i have the d800 and part of the screen worked while other part didnt. turned out to be the screen went bad (from dropping a few times though). screen needs to be replaced and it will be good again.

I have G2 TMobile D801, When i updated it from Kitkat to Lolipop, Touch is not working. Some time some part of touch works but most of the time it doesn't. Can anyone help me out in this ? I don't know its a software issue or hardware . Most of the People in different Forums are saying its a Software issue.

hi this is julio from colombia .. does any one know how to downgrade from lolipop to kit kat...5.0.2 is good but i feel that the interface and system behaves better with kit kat...when connecting to pc or even with 3.5 jack...camera seems to be better with the itelligent automatic shoot too..that something that noticed in nightshoots while doing it to the same object with regular and intellingent,with 5.0.2 the ones above takes the picture same way no chnages applied so i think issue with that may be....strat up is better sometimes lagges the lock screen with first boot after having it charge ...
if some one knos how to go back please tell me my unit is a d800 att version 32 gb.

if don't like so bigger phones, G2 it's a better choice. 2 months ago I bought a G2 because it's smaller and chipper than G3 and I'm very happy with this baby.

G2 magnetic case, 16 Aug 2015Can a magnetic case damage any components of the phone? Or ... moreMagnetic holders will influence some of the sensors such as the e-compass so it might be better to remove the magnetic case when using the phone as navigation.
