I m getting a problem on my g2 LS980 sprint version..
an update notification comes..when i click on that..it restarts...but not get updated...it happens about 4 to 5 times...after the phone restarts ... i go to settings and check for update..but it says..your phone is up to date...i m still running 4.4.2...Any idea???

AnonD-401362, 31 May 2015how long have u been using your phone ? am actually lookin... moreI have been using it for 1.5 years and past 2 months i see a decrease in battery life mostly coz of upgrade to Lollipop and especially using BBM or Twitter app, otherwise battery lasts good, overall deterioration in battery i can say is 10%

Can you show us those bad photos or tell us something about the apps you use/battery usage stats concerning the bad battery life and heating?
We may be able to help you, but give us something to look into.
For me... The camera was pretty good, but I found some useful apps like FreeDcam and Xcam and improved it further. Heating... well it's a quad-core clocked at over 2Ghz so yeah, it gets pretty warm under heavy load but I can't say mine ever got so hot it started to worry me. As per battery life, I wasn't yet able to drain it in a single day. It lasts about two days on average.

i am using lg g2-802D in pakistan.but its battery going down faster maximum 8hr without using internet. any news about lollipop update in pakistan. and i am also not happy with its camera quality of pictures. its heatsup too.

yesterday i upgraded my LG G2 VS980 version 4.4.2 kitkat (VS98024A) to lolipop 5.0.2 (VS98039A) without ant problem, just conect it into pc and start the verizon wireless software upgrade assitant..it takes 1.5 hours approx. now my is on lolipop 5.0.2 and running smoothly without any problem. :)
i m happy with my G2

just update my g2 to lollipop 5.0.2 via lg mobile support tool 1667.
88mb..
the update really awesome its based on lg g3
but quite satisfied with the home touch button.its kind of ridiculos..
overall its awesome..no need to reset after update

Despite upgrade to Lollipop being available, repeatedly, after connecting to pc suite, the upgrade hangs at the 95% stage of 'analysis of the upgrade environment'. I have tried rebooting my phone but without success. Please would anybody advise?

The LG G2 is a very good Phone it has no flaws, it can do the tasks it should , the display is very good, the only thing is why the buttons on the back . but i like it very much and hope it gets a lolipop update soon
