Don't buy G2 D805 (Latin America) if you want to use VoIP apps. Since upgraded to Kitkat no more Skype, Viber, WhatsApp voice, Hangouts voice. There are many complains on the forums, but LG does nothing to solve the issue.

Before I did factory reset, many files .nomedia in several folders. Someone in internet said delete all .nomedia files. I tried, but like in folder WhatsApp, WeChat, those were reappear again. After I did factory reset, I found no .nomedia files again so far.

The only way I found to fix this issue, is to rename every single photo, music and video (I had houndreds of photos, musics and videos), and then the default galery and music app could "see" and play the files. When I say rename, it's just to go to file manager and choose the option "rename" and change a little thing, like putting an extra number or deleting a letter... When you change anything in the name of that file, it will again be recognized by the default apps! Hope that helps...

So far Lollipop is not as good as KitKat in closing browser like Chrome, system and lag restarting apps in background.
In Lollipop if I would like to close (X) Chrome, I should do multitask first. While in KitKat, I touched right softkey, the browser will multitask (not all apps multitask). When the Chrome multitask, it is easy to close it. For lag, in my LG G2, I installed BBM, WhatsApp and Yahoo Messenger only. I open Dolphin Browser, open Firefox, browsing a while then exit (close), the menu of apps will loading first (all menu disappear) for a second before the apps menu appear again. Then, I check immediately inside Settings, running applications, several apps, like WhatsApp, sometimes BBM, will restarting.

I updated my 5 month old g2 to lollipop via pc suit 2 days ago, it just so happened that everything went fine and the phone was working better than in kitkat version. I'm in philippines and the model is d802, there is no problem I encountered so far. Thanks for this update LG...

I have some problems after lollipop was updated. It looks like same as others,problem with notification. And now,i noticed that when i turn wifi hotspot on, other devices cant get internet access even though it show conected. Is there other users have same problem?

Music (mp3 files) are available inside Music folder (checked in File manager app), but if I see in default Music player app (no any files). The default musics preloaded in LG G2 like Jungle Hearth-Vienna Boys Choir, Air GString-Vienna Boys Choir, couldn't be found in music player, but in file manager, those are available. So, if this happen, you can not play music with default Music Player, can't play them in background, but you can hear the music by touching them inside file manager, but can't play in background. I should do factory reset, after reset I checked Music Player, there LG G2 preloaded musics (Air G String, Jungle Hearth, Life's good). Not only me experience this, other users are the same too.

I upgraded to Lolipop V30b yesterday and had not a single problem with the transition even without factory reset. Lucky me.
I lost no personal files or music, just had to rearrange the widgets again and the Mi2RAW stopped working, but the FreeDCam seems to be okay-ish for the time being.
As of today, my Antutu score settled at 41556 points, slightly below Mi4 and Galaxy S5.

Performance is fast, score AnTuTu is more than 30.000 points, good for gaming. But the negative point of LG G2 is, the smartphone will not recognize any music (mp3 or other type) in Music player app after you upgraded the OS to KitKat or Lollipop. You should do factory reset after upgrade its OS.

I checked my LG using OTA, no new update when my LG was in KitKat, but when I launched LG PC Suite, it said I have new available update for my LG.

Buy hey .... I can't afford to buy a brand new one .. i found this site which offer really good prices of used/second hand phones.
I found that the verizon vesion vs980 is the cheapest among all ...
Is there anyway to tell if it's a clone or not as good as the other versions.
I live in african region. the 4G is supposed to be launched next month..
any tips ?
