Question: When I use any equalizer app, the overall sound volume is lowered. Is this a hardware limitation (a bad sound chip) or software fault? On Samsung Galaxy Gio the eq works as expected.

I hate this, because all of my previous non-smart phones, and Samsung Gio all sounded clear. I tried using an equalizer app, but the effect is not noticeable, except that the volume is way lower.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2014lg g2 or g3 beat if u want a all rouder then go for g2 mini..superb performance with no lag and heat...but this i cant recommend for the g3 beat

I'm from Philippines. The phone is awesome. Impressive camera and long lasting battery. The screen though it's not HD, the images and text are clear and vibrant. I love its design it's so compact and sophisticated ( I have the black one).

LG G2 mini handset is shinning handset but it is not avaliable in my country (Pakistan) for LG Authority Leave the market discrimination it should be available in my area too.Thanks.

The sound quality of ear piece during calls is bad, with a constant noise in the back. While listening to radio was bearable. For the price of 160 euros didnt expect more,and you can always buy new handsfree.
The mic should be ok, because when i am in a call the other person hears me just fine. There is a problem with the upper speaker in some calls only (for me, at least), ps the voice isn't clear and sounds like mechanic.
The sound is good, clear and loud, when you play something in youtube for example, the sounds come out both the upper and the lower speaker.

I bought lg g2 mini 2 weeks ago. I had read reviews about low screen resolution which for me weren't true eventually.my previous phone had lower quality, so I am very satisfied about the screen colours of this one. It is really good.
The earplugs have bad sound quality. I am concered about the sound quality during calls of the upper speaker because it is bad only in certain calls, not all. Does anyone have the same problem?
