Can anyone tell me what is the difference between lg d620, lg d620r and lg d620k? I took my LG G2 mini yesterday and its d620r, I couldn't find LTE (4G)in the networks... does it depend of the operator (the one I subscribe doesn't offer 4G) or whatever it should show an option for 4G even if it's not offered but in different colour for example (grey mode)

Even after I bought the LG G2 Mini LTE 2 weeks ago, I've been comparing it with many other phones in its league, and just today with the HTC One Mini 2. And guess what, I am most happy with my purchase!!!! for the equivalent of US$275, not even our locally-produced phones can beat the specs and performance of this awesome phone. Don't mind the reviews, those people just have to be picky. Me I'm talking of smooth, decent performance.. It's not the best, but with this price, nothing can compare with it.. At least for a year!

AnonD-266090, 05 Jun 2014Hi Rob, thx for the positive feedback. The Tegra version... moreThanks Again Nikolov for your logical info and knowledge.

Great news about speaker being loud as I like to listen to Internet Radio while I work.

I am physically active and trying to avoid a large phone like S4 but still have good camera.

I will need to send multiple photos in gmail to Architects, combining internal memory photos and SD card photos due to small memory of the ,G2,Mini.

I do multiple photos on my current LG but they are 5 megapixel and not clear enough.

So IF I can get the Tegra D 625 which has the correct LTE Bands for Tmobile USA
I SHOULD be able to send email photos from the,SD Card .

Powerful Android with removable battery in a small package is very hard to find,
We only have G2 Mini, S4 Mini, S5 mini when released.

Hi Rob, thx for the positive feedback.

The Tegra version looks promising, however, it is out of my interest rather. If better? Certainly a more powerful device. Battery life can be worse (check Endurance ratings). Otherwise looks OK. 13mpix will give you longer zoom - works nice in video but harder to keep still (no stab.). Crisper pictures. Bigger photo files. For the moment I do not see any other (than camera) usage for which I would need more cpu or gpu power.

No issues with audio volume at all - but I do not know how laud S4 is.
The speaker is more than enough for me. When listening to the i-net radio in the bathroom the full volume is too much for me and I put it to ~2/3.

There is only 4GB of internal storage available. I don't know why they claim 8GB. On LG's site it is stated: internal 4,0GB (8GB eMMC) - why should I care about some eMMC if it is not visible? No idea what it is used for.

Camera works OK with SD. No issues. After taking a photo, a small miniature is visible in the corner and touching it you are taken to the photo browser with options to edit, share, etc. When share is chosen you'll be asked to select an app to use (email, messaging, etc.). But isn't it a standard in Android? The camera was directed to SD by default.
Also, no issues with connecting to PC and downloading photos via Media Sync (MTP). On Windows it is visible as a portable device with 2 folders: "Internal Storage" and "SD Card". going to DCIM you get your photos and videos in Read&Write access. Also no issues with 3rd party photo organizers. F-Stop got adjusted to KK recently.

What I really don't like is when device's features are crippled not because of the hardware limits but because of marketing dept orders. It even sounds ridiculous but this is how it looks in this case.

I am considering the G2 Mini Tegra which has 13 megapixel Camera.

Do you think it will be better than your version ?

                                    With KITKAT and this phone-

Are you able to email Photos DIRECTLY from the SD card ?

Is the speaker as loud as a Galaxy S4 or loud enough to hear Internet Radio
across in a quiet room, some reviewers say good speaker some.say bad...

The S4 is a bit big and has features I don't need..but the G2 Mini has some bad

omissions, like memory 1 gig RAM, 8 GIG ROM.

I don't care about knock code and silly features...

BUT if I can take good photos store on SD CARD and easily send in Emails, the small size of the phone might work well.

I wish LG charged 500 and made it a Pro Device....

                                    Thanks for your help,
