If you plan to play games then this is not a phone for you. G3 has excellent standby time but on heavy us it trains very fast. The j7 will have better battery if you can afford it. Hope it helped. My next phone will be an xperia z3 or note 4 they have significant ly better battery life.

Dear LG G3 users...
Do not upgrade your phone to lollypop. I did and having too many problems like fast battery draining，heating problem during online internet games like clash of clan and a serious restarting problem whenever i do on wifi. It goes poweredoff automatically or restart..
The stock kitkat users please dont get the lollypop and wait for 6.0 ...
It is not must everyone have the same problem after getting lollypop but i am facing these after upgrading onto 5.0..

Only these issues i m facing after getting fucking lollypop

just stay on your stock android version(Kitkat 4.4.2) you would not see/experience any issues. before you updated your android, read first, search first, think first and talk to your service center about the updates because some of them had the experience of what the update version is.

help me am stuck whether to buy new j7 or used lg g3 .. am like g3 specs but listen heating or battery drain fast issues on internet or g3 also meets my budget in used not new am want good gaming videos playback performance so which good for me for gaming not heating not battery drain fast..???your suggestions help me alot

This phone heats up a lot. The battery is good but I keep getting ads popping up in my play store and I dont have any different apps than before. I've had to wipe to new 2-3 times because of this. It's annoying as well as user ability. It freezes and shuts down. The loading time for the apps is terrible even if I have full service/ full Wi-Fi connection. I usually have to reboot and try again. It's just a huge neussence. I give it 2 stars. One star for the battery and another star for the camera.

I have kittkat verzion. More little time, we will have the last softer 6.0 and then no more problem im sure in that.

i have the 32GB/3G ram verizon model and after i updated to lollipop the phone consumes too much battery while the mobile data is on ..even if the phone screen is turned off and put in my pocket.... and it heats so bad even though while I'm not using it . does anyone have this issue or its just my phone?

I am not going to say LG G3 on screen time is really great with the QHD display to support :).. but the stand by time is pretty stable. To sum up..check the apps causing battery drain and also try juice defender.. worth an app for battery management
