The device was all great for around 2 years and I didn't even consider to change the phone soon , but a couple of days ago the screen flickered and faded to black, It seems to light up for a moment and then fades again. I saw similar complaints on reddit and youtube and I know I am not the only one but it's a huge disappointment and still don't know if it worth the motherboard fix.

have had my g3 for bout 2 yrs and today i was watching a vid then screen went blue and i cant get any power to it...not sure why burt phone is dead...

thanks for this review.
i own this phone for more than a year,
and i love it except that its battery it disasterous !!!
i can't describe how awefull it is to get stuck with battery,
even when not using anything special .
nevertheless LG has done a great job with it's performance, and friendlyness, can run a few apps parallel (not too much of course)
camera is poor, slow and photos are just good.

I had a Gold LG G3 and it looked so elegant, the camera is absolutly superb (i took some pictures so awesome that people thought i took the photos with a camera with special lens)...the only problem was the overheat, specially if you use the phone while charging it, i did this so much and now the screen went black (i've read that this happens because the processor pins were desoldered)...other than that, the quad hd screen is great to watch full hd movies

i found the weak signal problem ,mobile heat so much to minor use, battery goes run like a rabbit, waste of money ...

AnonD-681191, 30 Jun 2017bro! how did you updated to marshmellow?I found it already updated, but it's an official update, so you can find it in the update session in settings. Go Settings>about phone> software update (or something like that)> and check for updates.

I have just bought a used LG G3 this morning aftre a long research and many comparisons between the best used smarthphones you can buy with a medium budget. I think I made a great choice and I'm happy with it.

Mine is now 13 month old. So far everything works. Never did it shut down or restart on its own. The battery lasts me a full day (with playing games about 2h per day). The cpu gets very hot while gaming but it doesn't effect anything. When I stop playing it cools down and no problem. Nothing leggs. 8/10 for the phone

My Lg g3 will be 2 years and 7 months. Up this time i have 2 new batteries and it functions good and have no problem at all...It is a great device...esp. the swipe camera function from back to front or vice versa, very useful for excursions with selfie stick.....

Feride LG G3, 27 Apr 2017The LG G3 doesn't have a boot loop problem! The G4 doesIf LG battery is weak, phone will definitely go into reboot loop mode. Mine did, with factory battery only 2 months used. Fortunately, compatible batteries of good quality can be purchased for ten dollars, US.
