Im Having the same issue on my D855. Battery seems to drain faster when not using the fone. Fully Charged it Went from 100% to 85% overnight with battery on. Can anyone suggest what to do? The LG pc suite does not let u back up properly

AnonD-394030, 16 Aug 2015thanks btw!To be honest, I've only managed to install a custom rom into my device only once. But that when I was using sony xperia TX and I've unrooted back my phone after a couple of days using the custom rom, cuz' I'm more to original rom that provided by those OEM. I learn it my self how to root, to side load a custom rom and everything else. :D
There's a few video on youtube how u can install a custom rom into your LG G3, It's not that i don't want to teach u how to root and install a custom rom on your device, it's because I'm no expert and i might ended up on giving u a wrong instruction. =.='

Go to settings > Battery > Battery Usage. See what app that consumes the battery most. Kill that app. If the problem still persists, I suggest you to do a hard reset. :)

richard, 13 Aug 2015just bought my LG G3 D855 2weeks back...its really a great ... moreYeah.. bigger resolution plus larger pixel density will drain battery faster than phones with, say, HD or FHD screens with around 300-400 ppi.

Am very much disappointed with battery life of this beautiful phone, i had lg g2 mini d620 nd the battery life was superb.it was strong on net, running simultaneous apps nd videos. But the g3 can't even last 6hrs when ur using normally routines, when it comes to standby its okey but when ur using the net or playing a game within 20 minutes u will loss 20% of it's battery life. I miss my lg g2 mini

I hope you enjoy your G3. Be very sure to buy it a good protective case. It's quite delicate, I think, like G2.
I've heard the Rom ported from the G4 for the G3 by Cloudyfa at XDA makes it much better. I have his Rom ported from the G3 for the G2 (CloudyG2 2.2) running in my G2 and it's superb! Very recommended.

First boot up, straight update to Lollipop then I hard reset it(you can find it on youtube how to hard reset LG G3). It's running like a charm. Its fast, just a minor stutter every time I pulled down fast the notification drawer, mainly its because LG's software optimization. yeahh it's a bit warm at the back of the phone when using heavy apps like youtube, a bit gaming, I mean every phone tend to heat a bit when running multiple heavy apps, what phone doesn't? Camera is superb! Love it very much. Battery is good enough for me, standby time is excellent, when browsing the internet battery drops pretty fast. Not like crazy fast, but it's enough to get through the whole day with average usage. Hope it answered your question. :)
