Whatsapp 2.12.19 has been released. Some say that it has native calling support which is not confirmed.
Whatsapp data consumption for 1 minute voice call only from the caller's end (the call receiver is subjected to data charges which is not included here) :
2G (tested Tamilnadu Aircel - India) - 250 KiloBytes including sent and received data
3G - 300 KiloBytes of sent and received data.

Gie, 29 Mar 2015I had my lg g3 in last month, and found that the battery is... moreSome times when people talk about battery running out fast I wish they would say how many apps are installed as well as is their screen on full bright non stop is gps enabled all the time wifi etc etc etc. They seem to leave all this information out when they talk about battery life. Was it fully charged ? Did you use original charger and cable? How were you charging the unit ? Were you doing heaving gaming or a lot of photo recording ? Many things can come in to play to answer battery life.

Taking a picture you hold down the power button and
also the vol down rocker on the back of the unit.
It takes practice. If all you get is a power off option then you did not press correctly.
Also internally some units will allow a 3 finger swipe across the touch glass.

as an lg g3 user this phone has still good batterylife,
morethan a day for normal usage. 5.5hrs non stop gaming. not just excellent but still better than most phone available on the market.
camera is excellent to me performance is great at all.
crisper, sharper, well detailed and good color reproductions.
no heating issue in my experience, but yeah its normal for a phone to heat when you use it for non stop gaming and that's just as normal it happen to all phones.
just sharing my thoughts.

How's this phone at all?? Lot of comments for overheating issue,poor battery etc. I'm not a gamer or heavy user, I want this phone for Camera and Everyday usage, using 12 normal apps maybe not more, I wanted G2 at first but G3 it's newer and better in aspects and I love bigger screen, I'm just confused about those negative comments about G3, also I think 16 GB and 2 GB of Ram are enough for me but I don't want my phone to get hot, so I can also get 32 GB and 3 GB Ram for not being hot( I'm saying this coz lot of people are saying that, the second one don't get hot like 16 GB one) Hope someone will help me, Thanks.

So, 28 Mar 2015no i had LG g3 32,no problem about heating.it's really goodthanks friend.... I will get 32 version in next month.. thanks bottom of my heart...

It must last for more than 24 hours after force stop and disabling all the unnecessary apps (google music, google news stand, google books etc), setting the display brightness to manual at 22% with display timeout at 30 seconds and disabling the vibration for all apps.

Do not blindly support the higher model mobiles like a child without knowing the fact. Understood?.
If you zoom a picture taken in G3 in the mobile to a maximum extent, there you can see lot of noise / blurr spots at the edge of the objects. This is not the case in N8.
So by this I am ending the discussion about N8.

This compares to the G3 13 mp and 4K video. The g3 has a user replaceable battery, as well; where the Nokia does not. Not much of a comparison here.
