thanks for your concern... well did you hard reset or factory reset after updating your phone...? and the second question is which update did you get first or you got directly v20h since i have received notification of v20e..?

    AnonD-347114, 09 Feb 2015thanks for reply... but i have heard and read from so many ... moreThat issue might be there with some of the devices, I never faced heating issues with my device or else wait for some days, you might get latest software ver.V20h, it's really good one, go ahead with that update, my G3 D855 (32gb ver.) is currently running on V20h, hope this answer helps you :)

      In 2014, LG G3 got the award of the most innovative device of the year.

      I was using this device and was enjoying it so so much.

      Today I got to know something about LG G3 that it's SAR value is lowest than all that is just 0.23.

      Oh wow this is so much less harmful for my health.

      Thank you LG.

      Lowest SAR means less radiation.

        As witnessing the change log of V20b to V20c. It points out that it's V20h for SEA-XX.

        V20h measure change was Change of home screen keys and swiftness and increased battery life and V20c change log verifies that.

        I might be wrong but that my research says. No offense please. Just helping out my friends here.

            In the same way if I play 720p and 480p videos* in my superhit Nokia N8, I am unable to make out any difference in the video clarity.


            * means - both files were downloaded from youtube using the same link. Only resolution differs.

                    Design (9/10)

                    I used Nokia 930, Sony xperia Z2 and Samsung S5. But I feel its comparably good as compared to Samsung S5 and Nokia 930. and close to and xperia Z2. Even though its bigger display can't be easily detected, thanks to its sharpen bezel design

                    Battery (9/10)

                    I am using this phone since last 16 days. I have 16GB/2GB LG-G3. oftenly used wats app, wifi for atleast 4-6 hours and 1-2hrs mobile data (GSM data pack), 3-4hrs Music (mp3 320KBPS files). Camera shots around 10-25.
                    But it still manages 1.5-2 days before it got dead.
                    Even I realised if you don't use camera then it can easily stand for 2 days. But when play blu-ray or some HD movies or clips, the battery got depleted rapidly, might be qHD and more high 538 DPI display.
                    So, 9/10 for its battery

                    Camera (10/10)

                    When you see its camera quality, it is little behind from Nokia 930 and Samsung S5 in daylight. Although the details were really good and couldn't be seen any measurable differences.

                    But its laser shot is boon and makes more sense in dim light or night photography where it shows its own uniqueness in comparison to any other high end phones.
                    so again 10/10.

                    Sound quality and speaker quality (8/10)

                    Sound is gooda and music is loud on heaphones. I preferable go for some good enhanced bass headphones (like AKG-451 etc). Moreover the call quality is loud and clear.

                    538DPI (but to be honest can't detected by human eyes)

                    LED customisation (you can customise LED light, say for e.g, If I want to ignore someone call I will set red LED)

                    Sharpen Bezel hides its bigger size screen

                    Multiple window (you can do 2 task at the same time)

                    Laser shot camera (fastest auto focusing camera better than any high end phones, highly preferable in night photography or when you are travelling)

                    very easy interface with typing

                    Back side (Power button, Volume rockers)

                    n the best thing is it is the most VALUE FOR MONEY!!!!

                      Despite of negative comments, I strongly recommend you LG G3 device, those who have faulty devices are having old software ver. whereas now LG released updated software ver.so go ahead with this device, I have chosen G3 over Xperia Z3 and Nexus 6 because of it's compact design even though it's having 5.5' screen, without any 2nd thought go ahead.

U can always go for this, its better than samsung, sony n all.. It was a hard decision for me when i was planning to buy a new mobile weather to go for LG or not. and ofcourse i was right. I used almost all other brands and with G3 im more satisfied. With latest update all applications are optimized for Android 5 n more battery life. Awesome features n awesome looking phone.. Gold has more classy look. 32GB is best as it had 3GB ram. Im a hard user of mobiles, and im commending as per my personal opinion about d phone :)

                              Today i just got an update from 20b to 20c,20c is the latest newer software version i obtained on my G3,LOL.

                              But it's still far away from 20h,what went wrong?

                              Why is there a difference of G3s getting different versions ,most of them already updated the latest 20h,where my G3 is only 20c,and so called the most newer and latest one,is this some kind of jokes.

                                  1) 4G will work only if 4G SIM is inserted. This is because of the operators in India.

                                  2) This phone is costly despite of the worst battery backup. Intex aqua power HD has 4000 mAh battery. G3 should have 4000 mAh battery to last for 2 days under normal use (20 non continuous minutes of voice calls, 1 hour 2G data standby or 4 hours in WiFi standby, watching 10 minutes of 720p video in level 4 sound) in 2G network.

They have excluded some of the handy features and slightly better ram management. Thats all. I expected some more features. Specially camera mode,and better on screen battery backup. One thing is sure standby would be great cuz it has a large battery. It still overheats. It is not the worst but i expected it to be the best :/
