AnonD-332151, 22 Nov 2014G3 GPS lock down fast? Got any issue?GPS locked in almost instantly for my G3(no doubt there's a searching process carries out),ensure you switch on location with High accuracy(GPS and networks).

You can get the free Nokia's Here maps,it works pretty well with G3,best it supports off-line with voice navigations.

Hi guys, I'm using LG G3 running on Android 5.0 Lollipop !

Flashed my G3 with Poland firmware (Build Number LRX21M.A1415646276). This is a whole new experience. This is the best and smoothest Android version i ever used. It's faster than ever. Lollipop update reduced the default RAM consumption of G3 and increased the battery life. Battery life is better than 4.4.2 ! No errors, No bugs. Overall performance is superb ! Thanks LG !

AnonD-334822, 24 Nov 2014Hi Guys I need your help! I can't decide between s5 or G3!... moreAlthough asking for a preference in a particular phone's forum will mostly lead you to biased opinions in favour of that phone, I would still say go for the G3!

I was once in your shoes not too long ago, and coming from an S3 made me incline towards the S5 for a bit. But the G3 turned out to be way better and thus I stand by my decision still and couldn't be any happier!

Just to share some opinion of the lg g3.
Bought mine a couple of days ago and have been using it extensively ie playing games (like asphalt 8 and so on). Yes the battery will heat up if long usage, sometimes borderline hot especially at the power button area but is due to the display. Depends on how you set the brightness will have a huge impact on the battery life and the heat generated. I manage to have a full day use (scrolling facebook, looking through docs and taking pic), i have an on screen time of 6hr and still have about 30% left on the battery which imho is quite good given the 2k display it is running on. After playing around with the developer mode ie changing the runtime from dalvik to ART, my ram usage drop from 1.5 gb on standby to about 900+ mb ram and the interface does not have the periodic lagg, only in super rare occasion. I have friends who are using different brands flagship ie htc, samsung, nexus, xiaomi, huawei, asus, apple just to name a few, lg g3 really is in its own category and i had no regret getting this phone. It is seriously powerful if you know how to get by its downsides. Dont trust in the synthethic benchmarks most site are hyping about. Try to get the phone in your hand and test it out. Your experience matters the most.
Fyi I'm using the international 32 gb version. A good thumbs up to lg.

Does this phone lag? You know like taking longer time to process what you want to process. How bad is the battery really? I want to upgrade my G Pro to this G3 but I want to be sure I won't be upgrading to a laggy device cos my G Pro never lagged. Battery is also a great concern to me.

After 4 months of G3 use, draining my battery(maybe its half life now:( G3finally improved on the new software update 10l, if lollipop will solve the memory expenditure problem, G3 problems will get solved, though will LG replace my half drained battery for its reckless softwares??
