I am not sure, but I don't find MSM8975AC CPU.
In other source is MSM8974AC

In such case, when sim is new, the only left problem would be from the phone! I'll make sure of that when I am in a location where 4G signal is always on, if the same problem appear there too then the problem is surely from the G3 and will send it to LG Customer Care, making sure that they'll get from me a party of accusations;) since they'll have to check it all from software to hardware to battery to network too!!

For this problem, I thought its a location problem first, as 3G and 4G don't appear on phone most of times as 2G, depending on location, then I thought it's a sim card problem, I changed it to a new one.
Still the same problem happens sometimes. The internet signal(if 2 or 3) appears then disappears, when clicking the data tab off then on, it works again but the best solution is shutting down removing battery removing then inserting the sim and turning phone on..Didn't try the restart option yet!

I must agree with what " Dharmendra singh" had wrote about problem in network after much use. Thought that it's because I use wifi hotspot much time but it seems that others have same problem.
Generally, it's not like the phone must always be restarted as the dude said but when the problem happen, restarting or shutting down then turning on fixes the problem.
Actually, most problems I had faced from time bought G3 were solved after removing battery then putting it again.

New G3 user here. I got it a week ago. No lag, no heating. Great battery life. Screen a bit dimmer than I would have wanted. Overall satisfied with the G3.
Maybe those with issues are from earlier batch.
Out of the box the software version is V10g but was immediately upgraded to V10i OTA. Maybe the latest version resolved the issues.

Re... moreActually, LG G3 is the best smartphone 2014 when compared to others in price AND quality.
But when compared technically, frankly speaking, iphone 6 plus comes first despite the 1 GB Ram but the 64 bit covers that since all others including G3 have 3GB ram but 32 bit. G3 comes second in ranking then M8, Note 4 and S5.
The test had been made when several tasks are running at same time as opening many pages at same time browsing, games..etc
But But But, when knowing that iphone 6 plus costs double the price of G3 outside the US, and a little less than the double for the other devices, only an ignorant will buy iphone 6 plus instead of G3 that is half the price.
can buy another G3 for the price of iphone 6 plus, if G3 spoils but anyways it has a year and a half warranty, so G3 is the best choice for now.

dudes, you can now all see that G3 users who reported no problems in their device don't really use it!!!
Like the dude here, he don't want to use it much so there will not be "problematic" lol
how can any device even the $50 one show any faults if not really used?!!!
As if, a device if used much, it must spoil or show its flaws/errors!!
The device is built to be used under all conditions, ofcourse you are not working on it in the mentality to spoil it, heavy user does not mean abuser!!!
it means works more than others on the device, that's all
I said before that when sometimes I don't use my G3 for few hours, the battery looks great, stays around 100% which is normal and happens with any low rate device too.
PPL, understand that the device is not done for you to look at its design, caring of it as a child or something!!! but to use it, you live once in life:))))
