I tried the phone in a shop, when the device was charging. The screen was so hot i could barely touch it...and the phone was idle. Definitely something is wrong with G3. I am fed up with Samsung, hate Sony design, and now don't trust LG...what to buy ...?

LG has solved the heating problems in Kuwait models. You will feel that ear piece area is hot if you are talking under direct sun. This is normal and I faced the same in Samsung N7100 and also in Nokia N8. Reduce the brightness and see.
If you experience heating problems, mention the country in specifically and give it for warranty service. Do not simply troll here saying heating problem, auto off etc. All electroic devices tend tonhey hot. Even fridge gets hot in the backside. Keep this in mind.

The LG G3 has both positives and negatives. Unfortunately more negatives. A smart phone with such QHD screen resolutions and so much unnecessary features will definitely suck all the juice up in a matter of few hours. LG rushed to release this phone without proper quality and bugs checks. "Getting into the market first" was the only thing LG had on its head. Consequently, it failed to meet users "Big Expectations". Wow factors were promised in LG G3 but hardly anything was delivered. LG G3 is inferior to G2 in may ways if you do the comparisons side by side. In many countries sale counts are dropping surprisingly. Retailers have it on sale at a discounted price but crowds are not that interested when they can get much better phone at even lower price. If you take QHD screen resolutions and 13MP camera out of the equations LG G3 phone will be considered even more inferior to so many no-brand name phones. I have been using LG phones for a very long time but I never thought LG could disappoint me so much with their latest LG G3.
For those who are already in the trap and want to use LG G3 for a while, please try the below to improve battery life and debug your phone:
1. change screen resolutions from QHD to 1280X720. This
setting will give you few extra hours, and your
phone won't get heated as much. Remember LG G3 is
powered by a 3000mah battery which is a bad joke for
a phone with such heavy specifications. Also not all
eyes are fit for QHD resolutions.
2. turn off all unnecessary background apps & features,
3. have your WiFi. GPS, BT and internet connection
turned off when you are not using it. Again phone's
battery life will improve a lot and it won't emit hit
either,
4. also use 3G network if possible to improve battery
life. I managed to get 14hrs of talk time with the
above settings.
End of the day it's all up to you how you use your phone. But following the above settings will definitely improve your experience with LG G3.

my Optimus g is KITKAT, my G pro is Kitkat , my L3 is Kitkat, and many other Low end phone were already kitkat! THANKS LG!

My phone keeps turning off. When I turn it on it shows "high temmperature turning off device". Any advice?

i am using G3 (3gb ram adn 32gb hd). Battery life is bit low and its getting heat if we use continously. And all of a sudden the ph is gettin off. Any suggetions?

Regardless of all the heating and less battery life, hopefully it gets better in more new software updates, the G3 is an awesome smartphone, the resolution is outstanding.
When I first took a pic. of my girlfriend and showed her it, she was astonished how lovely the pic is, very natural and better..., showing the exact face details as in reality, same or even better:p hair color and other lovely detailed colors....

Noticed that G3 lags only when heated like any other smartphone, and esp. when in pocket or car exposed to direct or non direct sunlight.
It is right that G3 starts changing settings and icons when in pocket, this is because of the swipe lock as i experienced this problem, set the lock to knock code and the problem must be solved.

Discovered something weird in G3. When it is used heavily like for hotspot, even after I turn hotspot off looks like G3 battery continues less life, ofcourse better than hotspot on but the idea is like it automatically regulates itself to more expenditure!!!
Maybe until you start using it for less time and tasks to regulate itself to more battery hours!!!

having problems with USB and Bluetooth Tethering, it's not working, not sending my G3 internet to laptop. When I try connecting with bluetooth it says can't pair the device with laptop!!!
Only Hotspot is working.Instantly shows my G3 name on laptop internet icon...But it uses much battery unless i keep the wire attached to my laptop.

Does anyone have the red G3? The official picture of G3 in red does not look red. It looks somewhat purple or something.
