To be fair i was a bit disapointed on this one, i have owned in the past the O2X, the OG, the G2 and now the G3 and on the previous iteractions we could see a giant leap forward on each one of them, i found the OG very good and the G2 the best phone of all times (when it was launched), the G3 as a some behaviour issues, a tiny bit of lag, not as good battery and i think the user experience is a little bit less polished than on G2, most of things can be corrected in sw updates but when G2 came out it was a great phone to live with and perhaps the expectations were a bit high but G3 seems to be just a bit below!

If what some had been saying of G3 autoshutdown is meant to be the turnoff of the screen, doesn't reenter again unless knock code or swipe, then those G3 users had never held a new generation smartphone.
Are you kidding me!!!
Increase the screen lock time in settings-display and you'll be okay.
Some people are crazy. Was this the autoshutdown!!!!

Even a laptop that has 2.6 quad core processor and 3GB Memory will not last more than 2 hours without battery which is a specific size one for laptop.
Very satisfied with the new software 10g, fantastic.
Battery life and little heating thing improved dramatically, but you still better lower the screen brightness for more battery life and do not use G3 or any smartphone under 30% on battery if you want the battery to last some years..

i just used the device today for a whole day & my experience is as mentioned below
*fantastic display
*crispy reading on screen
*no lags
*excellent performer in multi-tasking
*gets heated while making 4K recording
*perfect size; you will not feel that you are holding a 5.5 inches device.
*gets heated up when used for prolonged gaming
* lacks behind in benchmark figures when compared with other flagships because of lack of software optimization for 2K displays.
* INDIAN CUSTOMERS PL NOTE that G3 is 100 times much better than samsung devices because samsung does not sells snapdragon and adreno stuff in india they sell all devices using pathetic exynos CPU & expired mali GPU. so better buy LG as they sell brilliant hardware in INDIA.

Lg service Centre authority confirmed that my lg g3 dead and they agreed to replace it with new one within four days
Now waiting for new..

Domi, 06 Aug 2014If you shut them off at night, the alarm clock will not work.true, it was a suggestion....you could always just get a cheap alarm clock and try it, just to see if it helps. But as with all electronics maybe yours just has an issue.
