dear pl share your detailed user experience using LG G pro 2 in terms of battery performance, gaming usage watching videos, installing applications on memory card etc with us... do let us know that whether the device heats up on prolonged usage of watching videos or playing games... would appreciate !! G3 is a gr8 device except the fact few ppl are reporting minor heating issues on it

So giving 2gb on the 16gb and 3gb on the 32gb when they both use the same SOC is pure greed and something Samsung has never done and is really up there with Apple levels of greed.

S . SUDHAKAR, 27 Jul 2014According to my usage pattern of my LG G3, this is the batt... moregetting it below 30K doesn't make sense. LG is a valued brand and to add to it, The phone is nearly perfect in every way. You can in no way price it near Nexus 5. This is way too superior.
I am the proud owner of a G3 (first 1500 pieces in India).
It is a 32 GB version. It is a bit laggy but only till the first update followed by a factory reset.. After that it is as smooth as butter..
I am in love with this phone..

I would like to mention that I upgraded from Note2.. And hence felt that it was a worthy upgrade..

However those who have snapdragon 800 based SoCs should wait for 805 and 810..

I just wanted to say that I am a bit disappointed by this handset. There are two main factors that leads to this:
              - UI is a little bit too big for me... screen has a nice resolution but they scaled everything up, and I can see much less information on my screen than on average phone. This is especially irritating when you extend status bar... I can see only four notifications. In that case I would consider such a big resolution as a disadvantage rather than a plus - it just drains my battery and I have no gain (to watch movies, full hd is more than I need)
              - believe it or not, but by default (maybe there are some trick and hacks) UI is laggy, and it is not 'hardly to notice'. It is really frustrating to wait 1-2 seconds to see Home screen after closing application like Calculator. Another thing is that default weather widget loads from scratch almost every time I come back to Home screen (first You see blank space, then loading indicator, and after around 3-4 seconds you see weather info).

When I compare this to Nexus 5 (or even Nexus 4) it seems it is much behind them. Of course it has some nice features (most important for me are: sd card support, infrared, fm radio), but most of the system's modifications are ruining Android experience. It seems I will stick to pure android and wait for Nexus 6 / silver line.

Why?? why can't you make your own assessment instead of blaming it on others. so you want to spend 800dollars on what others say? if not stop asking people to prove why it is good.

Bought a Lg g3 arround 5 days ago, i come from a galaxy S I9000 that i have extended for this long, so far the experience has been trully stunning.. i'm very pleased with the device.

It's very fast, stable and fluid my version is the 16gb/2gb ram,so far no shutdown and hardly gets warm ,doesnt lag or stutter of any sort.....
i come from a super amoled display which i' am fond, however Lg g3 display is also superb on a diferent way the pixel density is wonderfull... brightness and contrast are fine i will agree that some 25% more brightness and contrast could make it even better but i assure its really good....

Battery wise its good it's been lasting me 1.5-2 days with some average to high use.. it lasts me more then my old samsung galaxy S which has a custom battery of 2430 mah on a 4.0 display....

Conversation on calls its very good, loud and clean.. i mostly use it on the lowest setting and i hear very well... i made a call of 3h and it spent me 3-4% battery lol..

I very recommend this device.. i think a lot of ppl troll talk about this device i believe it to be a lot of false spread rumors or ppl that haven't experienced this device in any way...

Already the 4.4 and all the versions after it have microSD card access limitation. I think the shameless google will solve that problem in the 4.5 version.

Is there any announcement from LG that the G3 will get the Android L update ??

Shakil, 27 Jul 2014Everything is best. Accept battery life, slietly lagg comare... moreAccording to my usage pattern of my LG G3, this is the battery life :

Almost the same as note 2 (22 to 28 hours).

G3 will be a replacement for note 3 and note 4 also. Hurray LG. Please do decrease the price of LG G3 equivalent to Indian Rupees 30000 or below to make this model more successful.

I have the note 3 and I'm annoyed with the pixel separation. Besides the 300 dpi eye limit claim at 10" is false. Scientists proven is a lot higher than that. Besides not everyone keeps their phones 10" away from their eyes; many glance at their phone closer more often than you think.
