Habibi, 20 Jul 2014I got the unit lg g3 shine gold from one of the network car... morejust know it won't scratch if that's the reason you are looking for screen guard. I own LG G Pro since 9 months now and I don't use any screen guard whatsoever but up till today, till tomorrow not even a single scratch have been found on my screen.

The G3 ‘wakes up’ with a frozen screen after pushing the ON button. The only cure is to take out battery since you can not even turn the phoen OFF as the screen is frozen. It happens many times per day, very annoying. I heard other people reporting the same problem. Is there any cure for it?

Mayb you have the 3gb ram version..i dont really know but the small lags and stutters make the phone look and perform cheap.that screen seems to be very heavy for the 801 snapdragon. Why not go wit 805!!!!! Me staying with my Z2 whtever people say its an all around good package.

I Owen two now for about 3 weeks and I have obsoletely no problem with it. Same as my G2 before. Mine works great and smooth. I have S5 too which I love it as much as my G3. Matter of preference.
I buy Z2 and give back in two days. My problem was does not offer much widget and I have to download and customize myself plus heavier. So much space wasted around boarders no same S5 and LG3. The screen is not as sharp as other two. I have no problem again with my G3.

So I've had this phone for 4 days now.
The battery life is surprisingly good and lasts all day for me. To give you an idea I usually wake up at 9am with the phone at 100% and by 9-10pm the battery would be around 30%. Screen on time close to 4hrs with moderate usage (games, browsing, and social media mostly on wifi and sometimes on 4G)
The camera is very good. The only thing I have to compare it to is an nexus 4 and iphone 5s but the reviews on here and other sites are pretty accurate.
The display is so alluring but the coloring is bit off, but video and picture playback is the best and the UI is very simplistic.
I'm happy with it and don't really have any complaints.

If you want to blast all lag ,Just go to Settings>General>About Phone>Software information and tap on Build until it tells you you're a developer.
Then open the new "Developer Options" menu and change the runtime option from Davlik to ART(Android runtime).
After about a 10 minute reboot period, the G3's performance will sing like a bird.

I got the unit lg g3 shine gold from one of the network carrier (Etisalat) here in Dubai yesterday and the phone is really awesome. i have existing other line from another network (Du) and they issued me Samsung Note 3 and it was also good. no lagging or any problem same as Lg G3. both are impressive smartphones when it comes to fluidity of smoothness execution. only one problem right now with LG G3.. i cannot find any screen protector for it yet.. hehe but the glass screen feels tough enough for any scratches so maybe I need to be confident for the time being even though no screen protector yet. Good job LG G3!

I was planning to exchange my Z2 for the G3 but after a detailed hands on at a local store and the reviews online, i "personally" think the screen is not the only deciding factor for me. The stutters and lags were soooooo noticeable when i was using it which is a disgrace compare to such a wonderful screen and design. My z2 still works quick and snappier and it feels more premium. I am let down only due to the stuttering all around the unit which was EMPTY with no real apps installed. I hope this gets fixed in the future.

I am going to buy this model. What is shutdown problem?. Is it covered under warranty?.
How is this phone performing?. What is the battery standby time (till 8% battery remaining) based on rare phone usage** with only WiFi on, 2G network only (no mobile data) at on condition and only some apps (hangouts, whatsapp, viber and skype) running in the backgroud.
** means - 30 non continuous minutes of voice calls in 2G network, 1 hour non continuous texting in WiFi with 2G network only at on condition (no mobile data) and 15 non continuous minutes watching video at 1080p*.
* means - one doubt. Watching 720p or watching 1080p videos (using the same display brightness level and volume level at 4th point). Which one consumes more battery charge?. 1080p videos?.

Disappointed. Really wanted to buy that phone, but no way i will spend so much money on a phone that could shutdown by itself. Can't worry all day about my phone that may be off line. Unless LG find a fix really fast...
