I hate iphones mainly for their design, shrinked screen, poor battery & OS, ha ha ha..then what's left?? I think my hatred about the half eaten apple covers everything whether it's iphone 5,5S,6,or 6S.

My G3 is best,very comfortable with the size and the absolute sharp resolution screen.
I wouldn't bother about the 805 or whatever,801 with 3GB Ram are already fast and smooth for all my apps,nets,videos,games.
Basically you DO NOT appreciate the beauty of G3,because you do not own one,LG is really doing an excellent job created the G3 to the world.

How lon does it take to charge from 10℅ to 100%? Mine takes 4 hours. Is this normal? Is it also okay to leave it charged overnight even if the battery is full?

I just got my LG G3, I'm really pleased with the handset. I may root it for custom ROMs sometime the future but not immediately. The UI seems reasonable and the "Quite Hours" feature I'd previously used on the Cyanogenmod 11 was present, excellent. In terms of the screen it's awesome but i imagine it's beyond my natural capability to really tell the difference between the S5 and G3 in terms of PPI.
I was a little apprehensive about the battery due to the screen size but so far I'm not horrified. I am a strong believer in extended batteries but I hope in this case it won't be needed.
This is my second hand set however. The first appeared to discharge very fast and was warm to the touch on the volume/power key area. Something to watch for as I'd done very little and didn't have any rouge Apps to my knowledge. In terms of discharge, I'm talking 50% in 2.5 hours, even when screen off and handset unused. The Android OS had the majority of power consumption so something was very wrong. The Carphone Warehouse swapped the handset but queried the nature of the first battery change. My feeling is there was a something else amiss here to cause such a problem. Regardless, for my new handset, I will run my out-of-the-box battery empty (from 50% full) and do a 6-8 hour full charge just in case there is something in their advice. I thought the age of Lithium batteries and first charges was over...

Its not a good idea to buy G3 at this point. q3 and q4 of 2014 will be the worst time if somebody plans to buy a flagship or a mid ranger device right now. SD805 is comming Im waiting for SD805, it's a waste of money if someone tries to buy a smartphone at the flagship category right now. SD801 will be replaced by SD805, which is far better. LG g3, z2,m8 and s5 will be soon replaced by a more powerfull SOC. Iphone 6 is also coming which is quite interesting. So save your money guys don't bother buying any flagship phone right now. Resale value for androids are too low compared to iphones.
as soon as Iphone 6 will be released all manufacturers will surely try to beat that with the new SD805 SOC so anyone who will try to buy a new android flasgship device right now will regret it since a newer SOC will come. Newer version of android will also come.

Have had all the recent phones - HTC one M8, experia z2 and s5. G3 is by far the best phone but the battery life is terrible! You can just about get a full day with moderate use.

Not interested in comparisons, I agree s5 may have the brighter display with more contrast, but how good (or bad) is the g3 screen on its own? Are the colours ok or do they suffer due to the relative lack of brightness? A few reviews also mention artifacts due to over sharpening employed by lg....is it true? Am in India, haven't seen g3 in the flesh, so am asking people who have been lucky to get it. Also, does the phone have extra-ordinary heating issues? Do tell
