Am planning to buy this when it eventually comes to India, but was slightly put off when a few reviews said the screen isn't adequately bright, contrast is poor and sunlight usability is also poor. If you ( or anybody else) who is actually using the phone can shed light on these issues I'll be grateful. Not interested in comparisons, I agree s5 may have the brighter display with more contrast, but how good (or bad) is the g3 screen on its own? Are the colours ok or do they suffer due to the relative lack of brightness? A few reviews also mention artifacts due to over sharpening employed by lg....is it true? Am in India, haven't seen g3 in the flesh, so am asking people who have been lucky to get it. Also, does the phone have extra-ordinary heating issues? Do tell

yes , it was launched in Indonesia for less that S600. my question, even it is 2 gb ram, but without nothing the ram already 1.4 Gb used. Anyone can advice how to reduce or make bigger size of ram. without installed anything !!!!

How poor is it?Battery life isn't great, presumably due to screen and it came bottom of a test with the Z2 performing the best followed by the S5 and then M8 with the G3 last. Only complaint really, otherwise, the phone is excellent and the display, main reason I wanted it, stunning. I can live with battery life which by the way is still pretty good. Get it you won't regret it.
