    i was using LG F460K with stock rom F460K11e and was unable to update it via any method.
    Then i do the following steps

    Process
    1. Root (KingRoot apk can easily root)
    2. CWM Recovery (becuase unable to find TWRP, so any recover will do just fine)
    3. flash Cloudy 1.0 (lollipop based ROM but able to flash it on KitKat OR you can flash any of your fav custom rom preferable STOCK based)
    4. after that go into Download Mode and flash KDZ

      help me please, i want to update my g3 to marshmallow but when i try to update it thru OTA,it says i have the latest firmware which is lollipop.my g3 model is D855. i dont want to root my it

The bootloop is with the G4, certain devices before Oct 2015 are susceptible to the bootloop. But the G3 has none of those issues. Highly recommend it, if you obtain one update it to MM. Lollipop was awful & laggy, MM has been well optimised.

                  Guys I'd love to get a G3 but so much bad press- is there anyone out there who HASNT had their G3 die on them after a few months or go into a boot loop? Or is it just that we only here about the ones that do?

                    Hi guys, is there any way to root g3 marshmallow?. I tried with king root. But it showd me that you are in queue and there is no way to root now. Pls suggest me an option. I would like to install CM 14

                          abbas, 20 Dec 2016Is ur lg g3 restart many times at same time during using? ... morePlug it into a battery pack or AC adapter and see if it still restarts itself. If it doesn't then it might be a battery problem. Happened to me and it would get stuck in a reboot loop. Replacing the battery fixed it.

                                      It was great phone,i did really enjoy it...but after only one year of usage motherboard stopped working.And i'm not the only one,a few of people around me faced the same problem...after that disappointment i can no longer trust LG

                                        I have G3 international version on 6.0 3GB ram version,i charge phone two times a day,but watch 20 movies and 6-8 football games per week and whatsapp/line all day active. Switched on G3 from S5 and phone is amazing,working smoothly,not having problems with heating. Phone gets warm but nothing extremely. Spend few hrs a day playing clash of king and that game turned my Samsung into heating device. Definitely staying with LG for now. I don't care for battery life bcoz with qhd what to expect plus always can buy new battery and change it 😊😊
